Didn't Time warner cable have troubles with viacom with this same issue?[/QUOTE]
Yeah, they launched a campaign to expose Viacom's penny pinching called Roll Over or Get Tough where they let the customers vote on whether or nor to accept Viacom's price increase and consequentially raise cable prices or call their bluff. They ended up calling Viacom's bluff and Viacom caved. Viacom is terrible.
It doesn't really affect anything for me, I DVR Star Trek, Seinfeld, and House, so really I'll only be ticked if I'm still paying for channels I'm not getting. We should get some kind of sorry gift, like a free movie on the cinema channels.

You do realize that you'd be paying for any "free" stuff out of your subscription, right?
And you do realize no matter what, we are going to be forced to pay more.
Noooooo comedy central is gone.
Fuuuuuck.

I know I can watch old episodes online but new episodes take a while to get online...
Just like fucking Viacom to exploit DirecTV and every other provider in order to get more profit. I remember when I had DirecTV. Their prices for even the most basic packages are insane, Now I kinda understand one of the reasons why.
