There is hope after all. I was feeling down all day, but this has really cheered me up. But seriously, American kids have to pledge to the flag every day? That's just wrong. Still, go kid, you're a hero.
Not at all, but refusing to pledge got him on CNN and got his view and opinions some exposure did it not?
Wouldn't filing a lawsuit against the government work just as well? It would give him just as much exposure.
Because it's patriotic as fuck to not stand for the pledge of allegiance. And don't tell me he can't comprehend that because this is the 10 year old future politician genius according to CNN and weaboos around the world
Like I said, his means got his view out there
Like I said, his means got his view out there
Does that make it at all right or do you just like blindly defending everyone with similar views as yourself like a typical politico fag
Badass kid. The Pledge is full of shit anyway, we don't have liberty and justice for all, and we sure as shit have no business making every kid in America declare themselves to be "under God".
Also, I don't mean this in a harsh way, but he probably is either homosexual himself, or incredibly mature for his age (though we sort of knew that already), and has seen discrimination against gays on the news. No one has lots of gay friends aged 10. He seems like a really nice kid though, and so does his dad. Again, go kid!
Wouldn't filing a lawsuit against the government work just as well? It would give him just as much exposure.
Possibly, wouldn't he need a lawyer for that though?
There isn't much anybody can do about his or her cause. If I went to the protests against the tuition increase here at my college, do you think the administration would suddenly support us? Sometimes you can't do much to help a cause, but that doesn't mean you should spread your message the wrong way.
Right, there isn't. But he's done what he can.
I saw a 5 minute story on Michael Jackson being naturally carved into a tree after he died which looked nothing liked him. 24/7 news casts ftw
Where's yours?
Does that make it at all right or do you just like blindly defending everyone with similar views as yourself like a typical politico fag
It was never wrong, he didn't take a fucking pledge, wow. Where did I say I shared his views?
"hurr hurr anyone who doesn't believe in gay rights is a fagget"
queer doesnt mean gay, dumbass. It means weird and out of place. Also, Im not suggesting that everyone who doesn't support gay rights is a queer, but the people who come on here and pick on a little kid for standing up for what he believes in are. Grow the fuck up.
"hurr hurr anyone who doesn't believe in gay rights is a fagget"
that sounds about right
I'd laugh if it was on :foxnews:. Anyways.. Good for him
THIS IS PROOF THAT OUR YOUTH IS BEING CORRUPTED BY SATAN THEY WANT EQUAL RIGHTS I MEAN HOW COULD THEY THE EVIL TReACHEROUS ATHEISTS GAAAAAH!

Young kids tend to get really into certain causes for short amounts of time. After all this news stuff blows over and he gets older, he might just go to a protest at most.
Just putting this out there for people saying "Kids in America have to say that?!?!" No they don't It is completely OPTIONAL. You don't HAVE to say it
It's not like the pledge is a big deal. Most kids get tried of saying it a couple hundred times and just semi stand up and mumble some words.

United States of America > A 10 year old's thoughts
It's amazing how I come on this thread to give a mart little kid a thumbs up and to tell of the people who want to make him feel like he is gay just because he has a sense of equality and justice, and I get yelled at.
United States of America > A 10 year old's thoughts
Well, if this kid is actually striving for equality, then frankly A 10 year old's thoughts > The USA.
Kid was probably pressured into it by his parents. Kids this age don't understand things like this.
He said he wants to be a lawyer. Which is a damn good thing, because once this kid graduates law school, he'll be the only lawyer in the world with morals.
