I'd laugh if it was on :foxnews:.
Anyways.. Good for him
If it was fox would call him an gay Communist and accuse his father of poor parenting.
Smart kid.
Well, if they just stayed in the kitchen...
Sexism makes me cool.
It seems like an arbitrary thing to protest. It's like refusing to say 'excuse me' after you burp in a country that discriminates against gay people.
The pledge states "Liberty and Justice for all", when it means "Liberty and Justice for most". That's the point you're completely missing.
So you should just say "Liberty and Justice for most". :v: Solves everything.
Ugh, better get a good sniper rifle and a bullet once this kid turns 20.
I'm an Atheist and I even say under god.
Whoa dude, hardcore.
I never really got what was the big fucking deal with that, they're just words.
Saying them doesn't make you any more 'opressed' than you already are and certainly doesn't suddenly make you a religious nut.
What an idiot disrespecting the US
I'm Canadian. All we have to do is stand when the National Anthem plays. We don't have to say anything.
Our anthem has the word God in it though
Protest

Our country was built with God in mind, why are you guys against us, I'm not against you. If you have to say the pledge just say you don't mean it.
Our country was built with God in mind
Proof or leave
I want to see detailed brain scans of the founders of the country that prove they were thinking about god at the time.
Some americans are such bigots. Making kids stand up and pledge whatever. We didn't have to do that in the UK.
God damnit that kid is so intelligent.

Not sure what you're getting at here...

"Analyzing the meanings of it."
Smart kid.
Seriously, though. He has a future.

The greatest thing to ever grace the news since I can remember.
Link QFT. There is NO freedom in the US anymore. Just a bunch of fat and corrupt politicians looking for more ways to deepen their pockets, and then failing miserably at doing so.
Call me cynical, but I have a hard time believing a 10-year-old reads the pledge, analyzes and contemplates it's meanings, explains, "Alas! The injustice of it all!", and decides to refuse to get off the proverbial bus seat. But maybe that's just because I hate kids.
I'm waiting for the conservative apologists to come and here and say "well if he hates america, he could leave"
I'm suprised Boba fett hasn't said something stupid like this yet.
A+ job.
Our professor showed us this in our speech class. That kid is epic.

You'd be surprised.
This kid is 11. He wrote this speech himself.

It's an optimistic notion at best.
But my point is that someone that young can, in theory, be smarter than you'd think. Few people 4 times his age can write and deliver a good speech.
Considering this is from The Huffington Post, I really don't think it's real, but if it is, that kid's a dumbass, and who knows, he may also be doing nothing but trying to get 15 minutes of fame.

"Almost every 'Founding Father' of the US was a Christian, but that doesn't mean they meant to make a nation on religious principles amirite?"
This boy is going to do great things in his life.
What? Suffer from multiple panic attacks and anxiety disorders because of an unjust world before turning to drugs to escape reality and becoming a burnout.
Phew, thank god hes so smart. His life's going to be so enjoyable.
This shows that not all 10 year olds are fuckwit idiots that spend their time on Garry's Mod making sex poses and shitty contraptions with wire.
He'll die young. All the good ones do.
This kid is smart. His values are true. Just little weird that he knows what a lesbian and a gay is.
thats because he is one
Why do people hate gays so much?
Because they wanna rape our kids, give us aids, and corrupt our morals!!!!!1

Huh...
All is not lost I suppose.
"Ma'am, with all due respect, you can jump off a bridge."
This kids got quite a pair.

I think he might be mildly autistic though.
How is he friends with gay people when he's 10 :raise:
Regardless, he's a great kid. Most adults are stupider then him.

Why can't he be? does he have to be a certain age to gain the friendship of gays/lesbians?

No, but how many gay people did you know when you were 10?
