And if your isp started hijacking SSL traffic, wouldn't that be illegal as shit seeing as all your CC info, passwords and so on is viewed by someone? It's not that bad.[/QUOTE] That still won't help much: - Tons of people leave their wi-fi on WEP settings (or worse, completely open), and anyone from the neighbor to a passing car could get in (with effort on WEP, but still) and do whatever - The IP is only attached to the billpayer's name, so if the spouse or the son is the true "guilty" party then the actual billpayer gets slammed - Even then people could just mask their identity and use Tor or something similar
