Fuck that, South Park is superior.
I wonder what happened to that revival of the Flintstones he was working on.
Here is Seth McFarlane's recipe for success Fucktarded wife, retarded son, daughter everyone hates, a family animal that talks, and a child that is smarter then their own idiot family. SO ORIGINAL.
reminded of this
I wonder what happened to that revival of the Flintstones he was working on.
This is it, they certainly look like cavemen.
American Dad is brilliant Family Guy above the first few seasons only has a good episode here and there and way too much padding. yesterday i watched one where they literally played 90 seconds (certainly over a minute) of a wierd 80's pop music video as a gag....A FULL 90 FUCKING SECONDS. They draw punchlines awkwardly long whereas using the same joke but just for a few seconds would have actually been funny. the Stewie and Brian specials though are always good Cleveland show is an abomination and should never have been invented This....this though...looks like a failed abortion
I never really liked the Stewie and Brian specials.
I never really liked the Stewie and Brian specials.
Its more of that Brian became such a douche in the later episodes. in the earlier episodes he was the voice of reason. I really dont get why they changed his character so drastically.
http://tv.msn.com/tv/article.aspx?news=838463&affid=100055
I like how it is completely obvious that he gave up on any animational quality and said AH fuck it. The left looks like a cut from the american data "family standing together pose" and the right looks like a cut from "family guy standing next to family"
Louis was a typical house wife, now shes just pure bitch Peter was an ignorant guy who got himself into shit, now he's just retarded flat out. Meg was a running gag to be picked on, now shes a macho man role model or something Chris was just an average teenager stereotype, now he's not really much of anything Stewie was an evil mastermind, now he's a pussy Brian was chill and reasonable, now he's just a sarcastic asshole
they call this "Flanderization"
why does everyone jerk off over american dad it really isn't as good as people say it is
Because it play's to some peoples idea of "this is what a white republican actually acts like" syndrome people seem to have.
Spoiler alert: The plucky animal sidekick will be a water bear in a petri dish named Terrance, who's voice is based on Charles Nelson Reiley. His catch phrase will be "Can someone explain who this Banksy guy is, and why I have to obey him?" He will also randomly slip into a Peruvian accent occasionally, for no apparent reason.
i bet it will be the same as family guy, stupid little shit badly written jokes, "THIS REMEMBERS ONE TIME THAT I" *flashback* "THIS REMEMBERS ONE TIME THAT I" *flashback* "THIS REMEMBERS ONE TIME THAT I" *flashback* "THIS REMEMBERS ONE TIME THAT I" *flashback*
I don't recall that many flash backs in Cleveland Show or American Dad.
Because it play's to some peoples idea of "this is what a white republican actually acts like" syndrome people seem to have.
The show was made to be nothing but a giant George Bush joke, at least thats how it seems to me. Especially the earlier seasons. I remember seeing in one of the later episodes, Stan was okay with Obama being president. Its too inconsistant for me, if you're in it for republican bashing political humor.
I thought Seth wanted to stop working with FOX.
No, he just wants Family Guy to end, but fox keeps wanting it back.
The show was made to be nothing but a giant George Bush joke. I remember seeing in one of the later episodes, Stan was okay with Obama being president.
On a business trip I watched about 3 or 4 of what seemed to be newer episodes, the seem like the same stereotypical white republican humor as before.
As always said in any Family Guy thread, American Dad is miles ahead of Family Guy and whole lot funnier.
I don't recall that many flash backs in Cleveland Show or American Dad.
It's been a long time since I watched American Dad, but it never had any flashback jokes from what I remember.
I think Seth spends most of his time on American Dad these days, Cleveland Show, before it was cancelled, was mostly Mike Henry.
It's been a long time since I watched American Dad, but it never had any flashback jokes from what I remember.
The closets thing they have to flashback jokes are when characters are talking about their past, or some mentioned event that they incorporate.
I can't speak for Cleveland Show because I don't like watching live abortions.
Well it was cancelled, so you don't have to worry.
Speaking of Family Guy, wasn't one of the main characters going to be killed off this season? Did that happen yet?
The show was made to be nothing but a giant George Bush joke, at least thats how it seems to me. Especially the earlier seasons. Supporting Obama is very much in character for him.
Yeah, I remember now, American Dad's flashbacks relate to the story instead of being cutaway gags. [editline]12th November 2013[/editline]
Speaking of Family Guy, wasn't one of the main characters going to be killed off this season?
Yeah, I remember now, American Dad's flashbacks relate to the story instead of being cutaway gags. [editline]12th November 2013[/editline] I thought that was the Simpsons?
No, there was a thread in SH a while back with an announcement that a member of the Griffin family was going to die in this season.
The dog has an afro... It's like they merged Brian and Rallo.
Stan's so uber-patriotic that he's going to blindly support the commander-in-chief, regardless of who it is. Supporting Obama is very much in character for him.

Its not much of Stan being a major republican stereotype but more of how he has a hard on for the U.S.A. so he'll support the president.
I thought Stan was extreme Republican. He's expressed a lot of hate for Democrats in other episodes. He would be complaining about the Obama presidency, but Im guessing because the show is written by Seth Macfarlane, he's only going to bash the side he's against. Wasn't there an episode where he wanted everyone to hate Democrats more and homosexuals less?
Jesus, the artstyle somehow pulled a reverse-Garfield, getting more shriveled and "realistic" while also appearing more corpse-like. Evolution of Garfield's artstyle included for reference: [thumb]http://thegonzochimera.files.wordpress.com/2012/05/garfield.png[/thumb]
dumb ugly lovable retarded husband improbable beautiful wife copy paste of husband in son format stupid woman daughter a smart baby a talking animal they could at least change up the fucking formula oh my fucking god
dumb ugly lovable retarded husband improbable beautiful wife copy paste of husband in son format stupid woman daughter a smart baby a talking animal they could at least change up the fucking formula oh my fucking god
What's really pathetic about it is how there's apparently a new formula with the Mexican family, yet the old formula is still present with the white family. Apparently, Seth just couldn't muster up the courage to try a new family formula without bringing "Ol' Faithful" along for the ride.
This doesn't even seem real. It makes me think it's some sort of parody that just barely missed the cut to make it into GTA V.
Ah a new avenue for racism on television awesome thanks Seth
