You guys know Seth worked on Dexter's Lab and Johnny Bravo back in the day, a few others too I think. He can also sing like that one guy said. He's got talent, I don't think it's him running everything into the ground, I think it's FOX.

I know some people have been saying that it's good he's at least trying a new art style, and I don't want to offend any fans of Bob's Burgers or whatever show that was, but I think the art style is...not good. I'm appalled just looking at it.
Jesus, the artstyle somehow pulled a reverse-Garfield, getting more shriveled and "realistic" while also appearing more corpse-like. Evolution of Garfield's artstyle included for reference: [thumb]http://thegonzochimera.files.wordpress.com/2012/05/garfield.png[/thumb]
looks to me like he just got fatter
What if the Mexican family is just six Consuelas?
I had no clue that The Cleveland Show was canned. Does that mean we get the fan requested and possibly more effort made Quagmire spin-off?
actually it looks like the original pilot of bob's burgers
The kid for the american family bears a striking resemblance to that honey booboo whatever those joke-references won't get old at all!
He basically changes the location and characters, and this time he actually changed the art style, but it's the same shit over and over.
What's really pathetic about it is how there's apparently a new formula with the Mexican family, yet the old formula is still present with the white family. Apparently, Seth just couldn't muster up the courage to try a new family formula without bringing "Ol' Faithful" along for the ride.
cant wait to see all of the not-racially-insensitive jokes barf mcfucklane will make with this mexican family!!

I honestly wish he would stick with that. Or break away from Fox, maybe you're right and it's just FOX demanding more of the same shit because it sells like hot-cakes to high school kids and young adults.
Let me guess, the dog talks.
American Dad is a fine show, I like it a lot. I laughed myself to death watching it, for his other works, not so much.
the cartoon network prototype incarnation of family guy could've been classic:
Oh shit I haven't heard that intro for like 12 years I love you
Oh shit I haven't heard that intro for like 12 years I love you
it's weird because i had remembered seeing it as a kid and liking it a lot but i never made the connection that it became family guy until someone pointed it out to me
actually it looks like the original pilot of bob's burgers
Wait. The older sister was originally meant to be a guy?
I'd hate his shows a lot less if it wasnt the only thing adult swim plays. Also the fucking eyelids make me want to punch a baby
Old Family guy episodes were hilarious, back when the humor was much more about random slapstick instead of relying only on stereotyping, racism, and celebrities. "Oh don't feel bad Peter" "Oh I never thought about it like that" still gets me
Personally I love American Dad. I never did like family guy though, I guess because of the way it's set up.
Hey, atleast there's a different art style.
looks the same to me
I'd probably watch an episode or two just to give it a chance. I know it's the same formula, but you never know. Maybe it'll be okay. Maybe.
I'm throwing my vote down for American Dad as well. It avoids non sequitur humor for the most part and I like most of the characters (with few exceptions). Roger is by far the best character in any of McFarlane's shows. Really though, anything compared to Family Guy will seem like an improvement. The biggest fault I can attribute to American Dad is that every episode is practically the same thing. Stan starts off with a prejudiced view towards something and ends up realizing he's wrong. I can forgive that since it's funny and actually feels like someone sits down to write these episodes out, unlike Family Guy, even if it's just following the same old formula.
That's a funny way of spelling King of the Hill
King of the Hill was the only show that was actually funny.
King of the Hill was the only show that was actually funny.
King of the Hill had its moments.
King of the Hill was the only show that was actually funny.
Kinda makes you feel bad that the show will NEVER come back.
Kinda makes you feel bad that the show will NEVER come back.
It is unfortunate but it really had a good run. It lasted a long time. One thing that made King of the Hill so good was every character was believable. They all had some outrageous twist to them, but it was never so absurd that you couldn't find that person in your own life. And characters genuinely evolved over the course of the show. If a character made some deep, personal change, you could at least expect to see echoes of it throughout the rest of the show's run.
As long as it's not terrible and boring like the Cleveland show.
i left adult swim on and family guy did a cutaway gag to peter as a strawberry getting raped by a worm, then rocking back in forth in a shower saying "HE WAS MY NEIGHBOR! HE VIOLATED ME!" quality entertainment i'm glad seth is becoming so prolific
Kinda makes you feel bad that the show will NEVER come back.
Also kind of a poisoned knife in the groin region that the now(thankfully) canceled Cleavland Show was what replaced it. I can't really give an opinion about this new show though. There is like a 99% chance its gonna take the 9:30 time slot that American Dad is going to leave when it gets moved. At that time the TV will have Walking Dead/True Blood/Game Of Thrones/other show my brother(and millions of people) watch on Sunday at that time. Unless they squeeze it into the like 1 week none of those are on, it probably won't get many viewers.
