What about protesters throwing molotovs and rocks at police armed with sticks and shields though.
molotovs and rocks don't compare to fucking guns you and mdeciever are the worst
I've heard that Yanukovych may be fleeing Isengard with Grima Wormt- I mean, fleeing Kiev with Former Defense Minister Pavlo Lebedev. Just a rumor, though.
He's fleeing to Mordor to seek protection from his master Sauron. [sp]I don't know enough about ukrainian politics to know if this joke works or not.[/sp]
molotovs and rocks don't compare to fucking guns
Sure, if you say so. Hell I wonder why incendiary weapons such as petrol bombs and molotov cocktails are banned in a lot of places, third degree burns are nothing. Especially when used against police that only have batons and shields and especially when they have strict orders to not attack you. Absolutely not a crime that has been happening consistently on a span of couple of months, and which is also now forgiven. Dead policemen - fuck them, who cares. They're not people. [editline]22nd February 2014[/editline]
lenin's mummy is still in the heart of moscow and it's been 23 years
Shame that all of the initiatives to do anything about it seem to be consistently led into a corner every single time.
He's fleeing to Mordor to seek protection from his master Sauron. [sp]I don't know enough about ukrainian politics to know if this joke works or not.[/sp]
Actually, he fled to the Shire, which had been sold out to Saruman by Lotho Sackville-Baggins in order to acquire Bag End. They ravaged and enslaved the people of the Shire as they industrialized it. Saruman eventually betrayed him, and then Grima killed and disposed of him. And then after that when confronted by the returning heroes, a psychologically fucked up and ground down Grima finally snapped and cut Saruman's throat with a hidden knife before being studded with arrows as he tried to escape.
Sneaky protestors don't play by the rules and use molotovs so we're allowed to gun down anyone we see.
Rumours says that the Crimea region might actually try to split from the rest of Ukraine. Apparently some pro-Yanukovych politicians has claimed that they won't take orders from Kiev anymore. Also, here's a bonus video of widespread destruction of Lenin statues.
For reference in case some people don't understand the situation involving the Crimea. They're about 80 percent russian, 10 percent Tartar, and 10 percent Ukrainian. Them splitting off isn't a problem and they're mostly just a staging area for the Russian Navy.
so you're saying that molotovs cause more damage than firearms? ok bub
Where did I say that? No, really, where exactly did I say that. Or imply. We're talking about two separate crimes, one being this , and another one being shown in the video above.
lmfaoooo like that fucking stopped them
Well evidently it did, because the only time police started gaining some ground is when they were given guns.

Seeing how Putin could easily drop him off in Siberia with no food or clothes hundreds of miles from anywhere. I'd be fighting for whatever putin said too. Here are some photos from Yanukovych's estate, which I shall hence-forth be referring to as the Turkey's Nest. Comparing molotovs and guns is comparing apples to oranges. Besides, despite the different levels of damage each could cause, what matters is how their wielded by the user and against what kind of target.

Sure there's groups that are more prevalent, or vocal but the protestors are made up of multiple groups. The police can. They have one common leader, and there's a hierarchy structure. This does not justify violence against police, but it certainly doesn't justify live ammo shooting at seemingly random unarmed and non-threat posing protestors. It's horrible those cops got burned, but it's not to be attributed to the protestors as a whole.

I don't think I've ever attributed anything to protesters as a whole. Obviously you can only blame molotovs on those who have thrown them, especially considering protesters started splitting up in diffirent groups since pretty much the start. I think I've actually seen people leaving the place as soon as guys with red flags appeared in the news, I think it was on Bankovaya street.
He said he would continue to work to stop the bloodshed and prevent further division within the country.
well maybe stepping down, getting your ass to russia and laying low for the rest of your life would be more productive than standing in the pro-russia side of the country and litterally inflaming them to insite a civil war that will only end when one ethnicity is wiped out... ya totally not a hypocracy
Parties and groups in the Crimea are calling for a new federal republic.
That looks like a screenshot from a new Fallout game.
More like the Metro series games which take place in more modern times and are actually made by a Ukrainian company. Besides, comparing tragic events to video games doesn't really work.
