There was a poll :v:.
Its the link in the OP right at the bottom. Keep up!
Vote UKIP, help keep our country free from the evil continentals!
I can't believe these nationalist conservative parties seem to be gaining ground everywhere in the EU.. It feels like we're going backwards.
Vice president of the EU Parliament (like that means anything..) just lost his seat. (Edward McMillan-Scott)
Green party get their first seat of the night, whilst the LibDems still don't have any. :v:
Green party get their first seat of the night, whilst the LibDems still don't have any. :v:
I actually wonder if they will get any..
Lib Dems would be lucky to get a seat at this point
BNP seems to have lost its only seat - bye bye BNP?
Lib Dems are behind Greens in every region atm. RIP Nick Clegg
Conservative Parties winning in the EU. What did you guys want to mirror the US?
Nah parties like that will just keep existing without seats.
There was some talk that losing their seat might be a final blow to the party as its been struggling later. I guess only time will tell.
Conservative Parties winning in the EU. What did you guys want to mirror the US?
European conservatives != US conservatives.
Conservative Parties winning in the EU. What did you guys want to mirror the US?
Conservative parties in the EU would probably be classed as left wing in America..
Conservative Parties winning in the EU. What did you guys want to mirror the US?
Few of these parties have much in common with each other, much less American republicans. Marine Le Pen is very Left-wing on fiscal issues, and most of these parties are decidedly un-hawkish on foreign policy.
BNP seems to have lost its only seat - bye bye BNP?
I saw a video related to that youth BNP video that featured Nick Griffin pledging to make a return despite acknowledging the fact that they will be decimated this evening. These sorts of parties never just go away
Depresses me how well UKIP did :( Edit : 12! 12 now. What the hell.
Ukip and labour only ones (Major parties) to make any gains down here in the south east
Conservative Parties winning in the EU. What did you guys want to mirror the US?
By and large this election has made Denmark less like the US conservatives. Sure, DF is a conservative party, but it isn't at all the neoconservative stuff you see in the US. It's a socialistic party. Still, the fact that so many here in Denmark voted both in favour of the patent reform and DF says something. It's pretty terrible. Also (referring to the poll), people here on Facepunch voted Sverige Demokraterne? What the fuck? Final Danish results:
Lib dems just lost another seat.
Depresses me how well UKIP did :( Edit : 12! 12 now. What the hell.
I don't know, I like the fact that UKIP nicked a ton of Tory and Lib Dem seats, because fuck those parties.
clegg pls go
I don't know, I like the fact that UKIP nicked a ton of Tory and Lib Dem seats, because fuck those parties.
I'd rather have those seats taken by Conservatives and Lib Dems than fucking UKIP
I don't know, I like the fact that UKIP nicked a ton of Tory and Lib Dem seats, because fuck those parties.
yeah bad parties having seats taken by an even worse party makes nothing better
Yay! Atleast my Green vote in the South West helped gained them a seat. But UKiP man, so many MEPs. I'm just incredibly thankful the EU party group they belong to is still incredibly small overall even with this win here.

Also Lib dems have now lost a total of 7 seats..
I voted Pirates and they didn't get a seat, oh well, I didn't really expect them to. At least they get the money for the votes they had.
Depends, if they're successful with their complaint, they might still get that one seat. Unless they just plan to attack the law itself for a future election. Not sure completely. While I wouldn't vote for them in a national election, I did toy with the idea of voting for them for the EU ones, so pretty happy they got a better turnout compared to the last time.
yeah bad parties having seats taken by an even worse party makes nothing better
It spreads the power out, UKIP will never get enough to make a difference but they can weaken the others.
Wait a minute holy shit, the UKiP-style parties are going to be overshadowing the UK conversative party in the EU Parliment. Cameron is gonna be pissed.
West Midlands is the first result where the Lib Dems aren't last! They're only fourth, well done :~)
