Open task manager->browse for rouge process ->open file location->delete
There can be more advanced ones but usually that will do the trick.

I'm honestly not sure if you really believe this stuff, or you're just trolling with malicious information...

Not everyone is going to have knowledge this intricate when dealing with issues like this.
This isn't really a solid solution, though, considering that most people who actually make malware are very crafty and resourceful.
Open task manager->browse for rouge process ->open file location->delete

Thats cute...
On top of what you said, they don't make any money from you just seeing the ad. You actually have to click the ad for them to get money. With some adnetworks you actually have to subscribe to their product for the site hosting the ad to see any revenue at all.
That's not universally true.
This is why I religiously block every single advertisement I can.
I don't quite understand internet advertising. Almost all banner ads, popup ads, all of that shit leads to adware, malware, etc. The only people who benefit anymore are the malware distributors.
Well this explains that redirect i got and that fake norton security browser scan, even though i don't have any norton related software on my computer.
I got one rouge antimalware once that disabled launching programs, including task manager, until I gave it money. The trick was it was quite possibly the slowest startup process ever so I just hit Ctrl+Alt+Delete as soon as I rebooted the computer and found the process with the highest CPU usage (aaadsadsadsadfghk.exe if I remember correctly) and ended it then deleted the .exe, problem solved. Of course this was a really dumb one so it was easy to remove, other people probably weren't so lucky.
And once again adblock protects me from bullshit, as it has for everyone else.

What if the process is beige?
Why can't ads just be like
"Hey buy mcdonalds n shit it tastes good and all that"
why does it have to be
"MOMS ONLY--FREE COLLEGE CHOOSE YOUR AGE!!!!!"
I would gladly stop using adblock if the ads were from normal reputable companies instead of a bunch of scam sites.

Useless against downloader viruses.
Those will download more viruses, usually one of those downloaded will be an "insurance" program that makes sure it is running and still in existence. It will then copy the backed up of the program or a secondary backup from an unrelated file. now imagine 2 insurance programs that manage several other programs managing several viruses which are constantly making sure you cannot use your computer to deal with them by doing such things as blocking access to task manager(simple, mind you), preventing execution of executable except through itself(also a simple reg edit), changing every browser you have to have a localized homepage set up by the virus(webservers are easy to set up, and a url can be made with the hosts file), And many more things to interrupt your ability to remove it.

It's incredibly obvious that you have no idea what you're talking about. Please stop before someone takes you seriously.

Some more good advice, usually the biggest download button is the safest.

Windows is a pile of ass with no security and any process can do system call hooking to hide itself from all other usermode processes

You need ring0 anti-aim proxy code for that
Is it bad that I just adblock those "disable adblock" images?
You need ring0 anti-aim proxy code for that
Hah, get shit on by my hypervisor anti-anti-aim fakelag kid.
Now take your head hitbox out of your ass and stop shitposting.

I have jitter so u just got shit on kid this is official facepunch hvh v1
And yet you misunderstand that advertisements on sites are the sole source of income for some people. It's not their fault if the ads have malware on them; blame the company they get the ads from for not screening them
I do understand that but I don't care. RedLetterMedia is a perfect example of how to do ads right. An hour long episode of Half in the Bag gets three one minute long advertisements. That's fair.
I'm not going to watch a 30 second ad every three or four videos on YouTube and I shouldn't have to have to subject myself to a completely cluttered website filled with shit if I don't have adblock on.
They're crazy for not using it. The internet is a much more pleasant without ads.
It's my moral choice and I believe it's the best one.

EasyList has a filter just for that, actually.

pff fkin scrubs, my PC has reverse tracrouting proxy based malware hijackers that infest the virus autors PC computers.
I stoled it from the NSA and modified it with CMD
u dont got shit on me bruh
Well this is worrying considering I've had ads somehow getting past adblockplus
Ad block and no script ftw! Sandboxie is great too.
Well this is worrying considering I've had ads somehow getting past adblockplus
Usually those are ads that are specifically and deliberately placed on the website whereas most things that adblock blocks are always in ad-specific zones on a web page.
Ad block and no script ftw!
I use both both of these but I still get ad shit coming through somehow. Noscript kind of becomes useless when you have a massive list of links you have to allow to get stuff to work as well.
