Why the hate on ME2? ME2 was pretty much The Empire Strikes Back of the series. Not as good as A New Hope or Return of the Jedi, but still really good, and a vital part of the series. It was Darker than ME1, a bit shorter (only a few hours less.), and it was a different take on things. It had a great musical score too. Also, BioWare already said they're improving combat a lot, shepard is more maneuverable, and RPG elements from ME1 are back. BioWare's not going to disappoint us on this one guys, not like Dragon Age 2. Then again, Dragon Age 2 was written by Hamburger Helper, and ME3 isn't. Side missions, mining and generally reading/discovering everything there is to be found can easily add another 12 hours onto the that. Then there's the DLC, which adds another 6 hours of content, and you've got well over 40 hours of content.

the side missions in mass effect one sucked pretty bad, so it's hard to complain about there being more of them. The only good side mission was bring down the sky, which was a dlc unless you really really liked the mako i guess

I don't know what to make of these shots. I could easily mistake it for being ME2 DLC. But we still have many months before it's released so I will reserve my opinion until better shots come out.
