Seriously sad that this is a regular thing in the US. Lockdown a city because of one 19 year old yet 5 people die in "just another gang shooting".
Think the US needs to concentrate more on these issues than tackling foreign "terrorism"

This. Seriously guys it happens so often and is a big enough problem that it is actually frowned upon to report on it now. It ends up giving the gang members more attention. This is nothing out of the ordinary.

They are trying to tackle issues. It's nowhere near Mexico levels of violence happily but it's enough to make the place look third world. You can't just make this stuff just dissapear instantly. It's actually gotten FAR better than what it used to be. The early 90's were the worst. In Southern California it's pretty much devolved from Crips against Bloods to Blacks vs Mexicans. It's not even safe to be a Mexican in the deep ghetto controlled by blacks and vise versa. It's actually pretty sad but like I said it's a LOT better than before and it's still improving.
