Look at all that big red text, he's so angry he can't even type properly anymore.

He's given more evidence then most people on facepunch put on for entire month.
IE:They never back up their statements.

Is lmgtfy still bannable?
Is lmgtfy still bannable?
It was bannable at one point?
I can't explain it any more. I just look at the evidence. I have to explain every single time I debate people on facepunch.

He's my favorite modern president.
You guys do know that Eisenhower predicted the basing of the nation's industry around weapons and warned people not to do it, right?
If michelle bachmann wins I'm moving out of the country.
I feel amazingly sorry for Obama, people were too excited that he was not Bush and thought he would magic everything better. When they realized he was not a magical wizard his approval ratings tanked to the 40% they are today.

Yeah I know, people miss that bit too.

Yes, I am aware.
If only Obama was a magical wizard who could magically get progressive bills past Congress and have them fix everything immediately. If only he could somehow show the world what it would look like had he not spent a trillion dollars preventing the economy from worsening...
What I am getting at here is that Obama has done a decent job considering what he promised and his way of doing things. Despite Republican filibusters and Blue Dog Democrats (basically Dixiecrats) shitting everywhere, Obama passed a decent Healthcare bill, a massive stimulus, a financial regulations bill, repealing DADT, etc.
No one pays attention to my argument, however. They must have some top secret clearance that allows them to see the actualy federal budget, which is far different.
It was bannable at one point?
I saw someone get banned for it on some message board at one point. Thought it was Facepunch because we're so banhappy here, but it was probably neogaf.
18% of the budget is pretty huge. Massive, but smart, Military cuts and a lessened dependence on the Military Industrial system could easily help with our budget problems.

I think that may be the worst long-term effect of the Bush administration: After he was out everyone got so desperate for people who are "different" that nobody bothers to look at what the "different" people are really like.

I was not trying to say Obama was not a viable candidate because of Bush fatigue, just that expectations were high for anyone who is not Bush. Any president would have disappointed in the long run.

Neither was I, what I'm saying is that many qualified candidates, perhaps some even more so than Obama, may have missed their chance simply because so many people were searching for people who were different and little else.
And now the same is happening in the GOP.
I don't know much about American Politics but it sounds like all you Americans think they're fucking nuts. I'm surprised that they are running your country.

Actually it was done because we wanted to be able to ship fruit across the country without it spoiling.

Well the nutters are running the show now.
;31931065']I can't stand it that everyone jumps on this "THE MILITARY IS CAUSING THE ENTIRE DEBT AND ECONOMIC CRYSIS" bandwagon. EVEN IF WE CUT IT SO MUCH WE DIDN'T HAVE A MILITARY, THEN SOLD ALL OF OUR WEAPONS, THE DEBT WOULD STILL GROW IN SIZE!!!
maybe close corporate tax loopholes and end the bush tax cuts then.

protip: raw anger will not convince anyone of anything
i'm gonna be laughing my ass off from NZ if any of these clowns actually win
Regardless of who wins, the country is still fucked. All those candidates, and the majority of politicians, have all been bought and paid for by large corporations. They have zero interest in serving the public. This especially true for republicans, but also for most democrats as well.
If America is ever going to be "fixed", it needs a complete overhaul of its political system. Including, but not limited to, vast regulation on major corporations, a multiple party system and a way to limit and/or control campaign funding with as much transparency as possible.
Earlier this month, Obama’s job approval rating – as measured by Gallup’s daily tracking poll -- dipped below 40% for the first time. Reagan and Clinton both had approval ratings below 50% in the summer before they were reelected.
Obama’s approval is at 40% in the latest tracking poll from Aug. 19-21.
That's pretty bad for Obama. I hope he pulls through.
