Mitt Romney is essentially a corporate robot, I'd prefer Jon Huntsman to him.
Huntsman once batted for the other team, he doesn't count in the eyes of most Republicans.
I don't know how a single U.S. citizen can back most of these people. Let alone enough people to make them a viable candidate for the fucking presidency.
The fuck 'merica. The fuck.
You have to remember that the world is full of stupid people who do actually listen to the shit these retards spout out, luckily not everyone is like that but i wish it was a majority that wasn't like that.
Why did bush become president. If he didn't obama would have a second term as no one would have fuel to bash Obama on.
And kill him again.
...What is your problem?
That's pretty bad for Obama. I hope he pulls through.
I think that's mostly because a large amount of politics nowadays is just the Repubs mud-slinging unbased shit at Obama instead of passing bills.

Um, some of the comments on this thread that are Anti-Paul seem to be uninformed.
Last time I checked Paul (on gay marriage) said he doesn't really care what they call it or how they allow them to marry.
at least thats what I heard.
obviously not word for word but he seemed pretty passive on the idea. I could have sworn (Don't quote me on this) that he said states should make the laws for marriage. He pretty much leaves it open.
Regardless of who wins, the country is still fucked. All those candidates, and the majority of politicians, have all been bought and paid for by large corporations. They have zero interest in serving the public. This especially true for republicans, but also for most democrats as well.
If America is ever going to be "fixed", it needs a complete overhaul of its political system. Including, but not limited to, vast regulation on major corporations, a multiple party system and a way to limit and/or control campaign funding with as much transparency as possible.
Ron Paul is not "bought and paid for"
Well, if Obama goes down, which of them would fuck up the country the least?
Ron Paul is not "bought and paid for"
He's still a loony.
Well, if Obama goes down, which of them would fuck up the country the least?
the answer is neither
Well, if Obama goes down, which of them would fuck up the country the least?
Ron Paul
Mitt Romney, Rick Perry, Ron Paul and Michele Bachmann
I'm really scared you guys, this doesn't look good for us
Mitt Romney is not THAT bad, and will probably end up winning the nomination; he has support and he is a moderate.
Jeff Schoep 2012!
...What is your problem?
he was shit and you're an awful person for remotely thinking he did anything worthwhile

"let the states decide!~"
lmao states rights over human rights

That's the problem, historically, states have done a shit job when it comes to equal rights.
Mitt Romney is not THAT bad, and will probably end up winning the nomination; he has support and he is a moderate.
Anyone remember that GOP debate where they were all asked if they would take a 10 to 1 deal of spending cuts to tax increases, and they all said no? Yeah, none of them are really "moderate".
yeah well i also hear a lot of canadians complaining that the king or whatever isnt the brightest guy either
This statement and your avatar scream ignorant uninformed american from the south.
If Obama doesn't win, I hope Ron Paul does. Not that I like him, it's just that it's better to go on Captain Crazy's Presidential Adventure rollercoaster ride than to be completely stagnant and in the grip of a bunch of terminally future-shocked nutjobs like all the Republican candidates are.
If Obama loses I'll be disappointed. If Romney wins I'll slightly consider moving out of the country. If Bachman wins, give me a gun, one bullet, and point me towards Washington.
i still don't want states to decide basic human rights for us, all repub states aka mine and many others here will fuck it up for everyone
I really don't get how this acceptable. Just saying "oh, i don't care about civil liberties, so let the states that are likely run by republicans who don't agree with any of those civil liberties, not put those civil liberties in".
i don't care what party is in power, human rights shouldn't be left up to a state willy-nilly because all that's going to happen is people getting screwed over

It is common for all the GOP candidates to win over the conservatives during primaries. You will see Mitt Romney go back to being a moderate once he wins the nomination.

I don't care, why on Earth would that make anyone who isn't Conservative vote for them? Not only that, but they all signed pledges devoting themselves to causes like this.

Because that totally happened with John McCain.
Oh wait, it didn't, he completely lost his soul and is now a complete republican zombie.
To attempt to win over conservatives,* sorry. Mitt Romney and John Huntsman did not sign those pledges. And you are right about John McCain, he lost his individuality after the elections...
My point was that independents and moderates will will targeted during the general elections, since winning the nomination pretty much guarantees all the conservatives votes.
Please Obama, don't win.

But after making such a big deal about these things like never compromising, I highly doubt moderate voters would actually believe that people like Perry or Bachmann are for them.

Yeah, as if any of the GOP regulars would do an even slightly better job.
