tbh I don't like Wikipedia pretty much having a monopoly on information. So anything that'll reduce their power is fine by me.
What?
Everything on wikipedia comes from somewhere else.
A shitload of it comes from other encyclopedias.
There's information everywhere on the intertnet, wikipedia just attempts to centralize it.
And how does this reduce their power? It's one image. If you were to print out wikipedia into a book it would be massive as a motherfucker, one picture doesn't reduce their "monopoly on the information market"
By that logic you should be against all religions because, for thousands of years they held a monopoly on all the information that just about anyone knew about, and to this day they still have a firm-ish grasp over it.
Somebody get the Fringe division!

Someone MUST do this!
And get sued by the FBI? No thanks.
He backtraced it.
I dun goofed.

PLUS, you're free to use Wikipedia as you see fit, for free, as much as you like.

Everything is biased, and it's well known that the Wikipedia admins have thei own agendas. Plus, pretty much everyone uses Wikipedia now; no-one looks at the other sites.
Show me where the bias is, would you kindly?
Please explain these ulterior agendas.
And everyone in the world has bias. If you don't then you're dead.
Most PC gamers love steam. Does that automatically make steam bad because it has the most people using it? Is it a bad thing that people don't use the other game downloaders just because steam is bigger and better?
exactly.
What do you mean by that? Do you suggest that it's a bad thing?

Of course everything has bias, WHICH IS WHY YOU CHECK AROUND.

what "agenda" where?
You'd think the FBI would have better things to waste their time on. What a bunch of dumbfucks.
where is the source for the image they use? doesnt it come from another site?

This guy is pissed off at the moderators.
People on Facepunch thought TH89 was a terrible moderator, but do they immideatly start hating facepunch? No. They hate the moderator.

This comes off of conservapedia, and you're arguing against wikipedia because it's biased?
Are you retarded?

"Also, since the publication of this article, Wikipedia has implemented some changes that make part of the criticism in this article obsolete. I don't know whether they were implemented as a reaction to this article or solely as the result of an ongoing discussion among Wikipedia editors"
And I wanted to know why YOU hate it, not why four random people on the internet hate it.
And your original point is still moot, because one picture does not make wikipedia any less powerful.

lack of citations is not bias. you're a tool
It's our seal, guys, not funny, give it back !
We should fax the Facepuch logo to the FBI, then get Garry to sue the crap outta them.

This please
Wikipedia better win the argument/lawsuit.
Yay Streisand Effect!
As a taxpayer who has paid for the seal and therefore owns it, I approve of it's usage.
