Most impressive pile of boring games without actual gameplay which I have ever seen!
you could have saved this for a vn anthology because you might have had a point then
I have only played Morrowind and Oblivion and those games just produced so much content that I could not handle it all
Woah, $80? That's not too bad.
Games alone, almost all of them have been in some magazines DVD or some cheapass sale, I don't really see the price justified for me.
Use the [t] tags for that picture.
To those rating him dumb, I originally had a fuckhuge image in the OP. I edited it out before I saw his post.
If they don't have gameplay, what have I spent all those countless hours doing?
if you are talking about morrowind i think you probably spent those hours walking in circles trying to follow shitty directions, restarting the game after ctd's, and reading a whole book's worth of generic npc text.
Looks real neat, doubt I'll buy it for myself, seems more like a gift thing. It's a shame I'm the only real "gamer" in my family.
Fuck it I'm buying this. It's released FOUR DAYS before my birthday. This is perfect. Only way this could be better is if this added the games on your steam account too.
buy 3 copies use 1 use other for collection use the third for frisbies
does the first one really run on modern hardware or is there need of dosbox?

See? I can cherrypick bad examples too.
does the first one really run on modern hardware or is there need of dosbox?
I'd assume not, since they're releasing it retail it'd be pretty bad of them not to.

[editline]1st August 2013[/editline] hell i would even wager to say morrowind is one of my favorite games ever.
Looks real neat, doubt I'll buy it for myself, seems more like a gift thing. It's a shame I'm the only real "gamer" in my family.
I feel like most people who would be inclined to buy this package already own the games. I'm not even a big fan but through sales and stuff I own Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim with all the DLC on Steam, and Daggerfall and Arena are freeware on Bethesda's official site. The only real things you get are the maps. I would rather just get them separately, though.
Fuck, I might actually buy this. Arena and Daggerfall on a CD seems like awesome things to have. It's too bad they couldn't like, make a deal with that guy making a source port so you wouldn't have to use dosbox for daggerfall.
If they don't have gameplay, what have I spent all those countless hours doing?
The only real enjoyment I got out of Morrowind was its modding community. The vanilla game itself feels clunky and half-assed, and a lot of the gameplay features feel cryptic or gimmicky.

I tried multiple times and simply couldn't get into the game.

I'm sure most people who played Oblivion or Skyrim beforehand did. It gets better once you've leveled up a couple of times and found some better gear. Stats are really important in Morrowind. You'll be missing or failing spells a lot if you ignore them.
The Elder Scrolls is terrible. Morrowind pissed on my carpet, Oblivion bit my cat, and Skyrim started a hydroponics operation in my closet. Truly some bad, bad games.

[editline]1st August 2013[/editline] once you get sunder and wraithguard the challenge of the game is pretty much lost.
bethesda and their countless re-releases
Damn...
I honestly only want the maps and art book. I have all of the games already.

Heh, at least I can still say I have the Oblivion Collector's gold piece. Everyone else is going to have the map just like me :c
Why are they selling Arena and Daggerfall if those games are free on their website anyway (atleast, they were at one point)? Seems silly to me.
I wonder how many people are going to buy this, load up the first game, Arena, then find out that Arena is shit
I don't have a CD drive anymore :v:
I wonder how many people are going to buy this, load up the first game, Arena, then find out that Arena is shit
its not "shit", its just old as fuck and not as appealing. Daggerfall is better tho
Why are they selling Arena and Daggerfall if those games are free on their website anyway (atleast, they were at one point)? Seems silly to me.
Including two extra CDs (that cost next to nothing to produce) seems less silly than releasing an 'anthology' that doesn't even include the first two games.
