Every anime =/= Dargonball Z
But many do.
But many do.
I would have to disagree. But there are many familiar aspects of 'classic animes' in more recent animes. Which can be rediculous.
But many do.
Well from what the video shows, it doesn't seem like it's going to be anything like Dargonball Z.
But many do.
That was the main reason I stopped watching Naruto.
4432/4433 of the time they have fights, they are monologuing.
I was hoping this would be more Jin-Roh style Anime.
facepunch and anime, "cause when it's anime. It's either naruto or lucky star and no other genre exists in japanland cause they are just like that"

Well at least I'm looking forward to these, they seem pretty awesome. Though I dislike how japanified Wolverine is.
This is muy funny. Just imagine it as another spin-off.
Anime spinoffs: Because raping every woman in China just wasn't enough.

fucking get over it there are few actual mature mangas or animes (anime in itself is designed for children)
The majority of it is to satisfy sexual urges (in males and females alike) and to have a story that is so riddled with fantasy it allows the reader/watcher to escape their concept of reality and their own life (aka what we do with games)
I went through the weeaboo phase
what everyone says is true
It's terribly melodramatic, over dramatic, and childish. In the adult world few graphic novels of any culture are able to obtain any form of respect and unless you intend to move your ass to japan (where they'll overwhelmingly despise you) you'd better get yourself attuned to your own culture otherwise you'll be looked down upon as an adult. It's fine as a childish escape, but you have to grow up sometime.
There are two or three mangas that are okay in my eyes: Trigun (simply because I grew up with it and I'm a sucker for Science Fiction / westerns), and two seinens I happened across about post World War three united states (was seinen directed at the older generations)
regardless, while there may be exceptions, as stated before
what everyone says is correct
anime is full of bullshit and you're going to be laughed at if you don't grow up
go ahead, I encourage you to talk to any well educated professor about manga and he'll not only laugh at you for still reading comic books well into your twenties but then he'll laugh even harder for them being japanese comic books, as if you feel you're so estranged from your own culture that you have to run off to some other culture that will never ever apply to you or ever accept you
I never liked wolverine anyway.
But ironman looks fucking epic.

Stop forceing your opinions on others.

forecing
I'm not forcing anything, it's a word of warning
I've been there, and there's no better way to separate and isolate yourself than to get involved in a foreign culture to the point that it oversees your own
[editline]10:59PM[/editline]
and no matter what you say "Oh I don't mind being unique" it doesn't change the fact that you're using anime as a way to escape and that it can actually be extremely harmful to your societal development

weeaboo? what are you on about? I don't even like Japan. I still think they're absolutely terrible xenophobic bitches and I have no intentions of moving to that silly islands out of liking something that comes from that country.
You're sterotypeing everyone who watches anime.
I actually don't watch it but i highly doubt that everyone who does has issuse with there own culture, they watch it becuase they like the action or story like any other show.
You are probably right in a few cases but not all of them.
I wish the Halo anime looked as bad ass as Iron Man does, Wolverine is just bleh.

generally the people that defend anime are weeaboo as most have realized that it is indeed all shit

yes
Woooo, that ain't Wolverine. That's some Anime Emo boy who got his razors stuck in his knuckles.
Did they goddamn give Pepper Potts green goddamn hair?
Uh, that's not Wolverine. Wolverine doesn't have a mullet.

Most of it is shit. I find the odd gem here and there, like Berserk.
I have a friend who detests anime but loves superhero's so this should be pretty funny.
I don't know why people hate anime as a whole. How can you be like that? That's like hating a majority of fruits, but you find one that's somewhat appealing, but decide to hate it anyway just to stick to your ways and be stubborn.

:\ Wolverine looks horrible, but Iron Man does look quite awesome.

Evidently bricknhead gives a shit, funny thing is one of my university tutors actually said something about manga but I wasn't really paying attention.

Yeah, don't get me wrong, I think most anime is gay as fuck I do hate those people whose lives consist entirely of it to the point where they're 300 pound virgins who can't watch anything unless it's in original Japanese with English subs. or worse.. learn Japanese to watch it in Japanese..
But that's not all anime/manga. I have the Trigun mangas, which I can't follow so I never finished, Berserk, Hellsing (only 3 volumes of that), and that's it. And I've seen a few like Ninja Scroll and Ghost in the Shell that were decent.
:words:
Anime isn't inherently childish. You are over-generalizing a very broad thing.
Anyway, I wouldn't have a problem with these two movies if the character design and animation wasn't so horrible. It's like they had some teen from DeviantART do all of it.
That Iron Man one was okay until that guy in the stupid hat stopped his missiles with a magic spell.
