Guy takes picture of himself pointing gun at cat, people flip out

Wow this thread briefly became dead meme central
Goddamn are people stupid as hell.
The barrel is the same color as the slide and the fucking thing is fused because it's plastic.
Someone on Facebook said the man was "holding the cat aggressively." Surely that's not the case though because cats are used to being held by the back of their necks as kittens.
Apparently you have to be very careful with holding a cat by its scruff when it gets older (or simply not do it at all) because it's a lot more likely to hurt or injure it when it weighs a lot more than it did as a kitten.
It's still pretty funny and interesting to put a bulldog clip on a cat's scruff and just watch it lay there prone and not move a muscle.
Crazy shit always happens in Florida

What a fucker, he forgot to put the laser pointer on the guns accessory rail. :v:
Dumb redneck posting things on the internet that they probably shouldn't.
People not being able to tell the difference from a toy gun and a real gun.
My what a twist.
(Though I bet in context that picture has something to do about the guy hunting a cat. Which I could see being amusing. The problem is he kinda looks like a serial killer.)
Elder Lyons image sums it up pretty damn nicely.
Pretty fucked up that people will go batshit because some idiot is aiming a (fake?) gun at a cat.
Now don't get me wrong, a cat is awesome and all. But where the fuck are the priorities, people?
I guess I just have more sympathy towards pets because animals are truly innocent and they're unable to protect themselves, unlike any sort of human.
For those wondering if it was airsoft... no it isn't. If you see in that picture the gun looks to be a Springfield XD. I have the same gun except I have the 5" that appears to be the 4". The gun isn't loaded or at least it isn't chambered as the chamber indicator on the top of the slide is down. While the man is retarded the gun posed no threat to the cat at that time.
People in my state suck. If it wasn't for the weather I would move away in an instant.
Over a thousand innocent people died last week (plane crash and etc..), no one really cared that much, a man points a fake gun at a cat and suddenly people are screaming bloody murder, some more literally than others.
Cats are more superior than we mortal humans.
I took a photo of a hammer and my friends dog, better arrest me.
I'm horrified! His camera isn't level with the floor.

Default be as best.
A cat, unlike a human, doesn't understand the concept of a gun and doesn't care you are pointing it at it. If it was a toy gun so he could be certain it can't harm the cat, then there's literally nothing wrong with it.
People are stupid.
There's still pretty much nothing wrong with it if it was a real gun that wasn't loaded and the owner knew anything at all about firearm safety.
Joke pointing guns is only completely unacceptable when it's at a person imo. Especially because people understand the implications.
Wait didn't we have a "Never post a cat rule and you get banned"?
Oh yeah, that was the one before the dogbutt.
Oops.
What about the 'Rule', "never point a gun to something you do not intend to shoot".
Over a thousand innocent people died last week (plane crash and etc..), no one really cared that much, a man points a fake gun at a cat and suddenly people are screaming bloody murder, some more literally than others.
"No one really cared that much"? About the plane that was shot down? Between this and the joker meme posted on Facebook in the OP, is talking complete and utter false crap in an attempt to be clever an international sport now?
What about the 'Rule', "never point a gun to something you do not intend to shoot".
cats aren't people
cats aren't people
Cats fall under the category of "something".

oooooh.
That Cat.
What about the 'Rule', "never point a gun to something you do not intend to shoot".
Well if you've made sure the gun is unloaded and that the safety is on I don't see what could go wrong. Sure it's better to be overly careful rather than the opposite, but you can't really blame someone who's already reduced the risk to zero (assuming he has).

the other rule is a gun is always loaded, especially when it's not

Again it's great to be overly careful when handling firearms but you can't blame someone for not being more careful than necessary.
