Imagine the ratings as generic objects that get sorted into buckets. The act of putting them into the bucket changes them to the rating associated with that bucket. When one bucket gets really full and the objects start to heap over the top, some will inevitably roll into a different bucket.

Well it could just indicate that the field is weakening as it comes towards a flip, but still isn't India fairly close to the equator?
