i really wish we had funny ratings still
anyways they didn't like make an actual cloak, they demonstrated that this thing can be tuned to different wavelengths for people who haven't read anything but the title
Just one day. Because its certainly never happened already. Are you just trying to troll or shitpost? No way you can be this shortsighted.
I think the military has learned its lesson about expensive coatings on aircraft with the F-22. I doubt this will be used on aircraft, like the article claims.
it could be used on the front of stealth aircraft, since the profile they present to the target is in that narrow 6 degree corridor, but even then itd be tuned to radar frequencies, not light so its more of the same black aircraft and less of wonder-woman's inwizible jet

Yeah, but that wouldn't really improve its effectiveness against insurgents. Would help against larger nations or as another military e-peen move against Russia/China. I still think tuning it to infrared and putting it on body armor of SF troops would be interesting.

why? tanks are the biggest hottest pieces of gear in most combat situations, nobody's moved anywhere on stealthing those things from IR, even though in iraq IR sensors could see tanks from miles away like they're bright christmas trees
