If it goes inside of a pill that you swallow, you will shit it out. Seeing as they cost less than $1 a piece, big deal
even less than that
75 cents a piece... when purchased in 100,000-unit loads
Some of the comments on the article are pretty idiotic. A bunch of people acting like this thing is a tracking device or something. [editline]27th February 2013[/editline]
even less than that
That's pretty much what he said chief.

Seeing as they cost less than $1 a piece, big deal
they'd ideally be used in this situation for monitoring things temporarily, depending on the sensors given with the pill. Acidity, production of certain enzymes, etc also 32KB of flash memory and 4KB of RAM, wow just a few decades ago this was 10kb
THE GOVERNMENT USES THIS TO TRACK YOUR VOICE AND YOUR EXACT LOCATION. IT CAN ALSO CONTROL YOUR MOVEMENTS. THE END IS NEAR.
;39737236']My fear with augmentations is largely that only certain people would be able to afford them, basically marking those people as superior.
We don't consider rich people superior now, why would we just because they get augments? Some drugs are chemical augments yet we don't consider drug users as superior.

Do we have some other microscopic electronic components to boot? Perhaps some sensors if it will be a smart pill. I know that there are plans on using Carbon nanotubes as synthetic flagella for propulsion. Or there was some sort of hydro-magnetic propulsion scheme that has been tested.

I understand we aren't near that now, but look at computers 20 years ago.

I won't let it.
