Meh I somehow knew I won't buy BF3 when they said there won't be modding tools because Frostbite 2 is too "COMPLICATED" Now there's no doubt
they've already said there will be 0% chance of mod tools bad company 3, everyone please stop denying it
They always go "it's too complex for anyone else to use!" yet someone always ends up coming out with something. For some reason they're trying to kill off the modding scene and no one really knows why, unless they really want to start shipping map packs for cash.
I am not buying BF3 until Origin is completely removed and it's available on Steam with a functioning in-game server browser.
Guys i think hell froze over, mw3 has more pc features then bf3.
Battlefield 3: Most pirated game of all time OF ALL TIME
I like battlelog in the alpha. I could pick up friends and throw us into games. Kinda neat instead of saying the name of the server or sending ip's. And if you are pissed the community is right there. It's kinda like back in the days when you played heroes 3 online through microsoft gaming site whatever it was called, and it launched the match for you.
Battlelog and it's server browser worked fine, but it's still a pretty half-assed concept.
This explains why the alpha was browser launch.
DICE should just cut the dead weight that is EA.
DICE should just cut the dead weight that is EA.
EA owns DICE and the Battlefield name.
This is so utterly stupid, it's rather amusing.
DICE should just cut the dead weight that is EA.
It'd be my wet dream if Valve bought them.
Now that's just cruel, the bullshit just keeps piling up the closer it comes to release.
Day before release: "By the way, there's no mouse-keyboard support. You'll need a console controller to play."
Modern Warfare 3 wins. Great Job EA. First they take it off steam, hold it hostage on a EA store that only distributes games they make, force us to use the EA store application if we want to buy their games digitally, and now we get stuck with a shitty server browser.
What's sad is that Activision is actually smart enough to know that selling their game on steam would boost sales on the pc.

Or, like BC2, they could join the server you were already in.
This explains why the alpha was browser launch.
I actually thought it was because server browser wasn't implemented yet :saddowns:
I'd like to know what DICE think of all this. Surely they can see that EA are fucking over their game's chances at least on the PC market.
Shut up, and don't take my money.
is it really a battlefield game if it's better on consoles?
I'm glad I never got involved in the Battlefield vs. CoD conflict. Otherwise I'd probably feel like a dumbass right now.
Anyone remember the All-seeing Eye software? I thought it was fun to use.. but uhh, I don't know- just saying.
I liked using the web browser to find severs in the alpha.
I liked using the web browser to find severs in the alpha.
Did you know that "Tuskin" means "Hardly" in finnish?
I liked using the web browser to find severs in the alpha.
have fun starting and restarting the game until you find an acceptable server good luck if you get kicked from it or ragequit because that's another 5 minutes to find a decent server
have fun starting and restarting the game until you find an acceptable server good luck if you get kicked from it or ragequit because that's another 5 minutes to find a decent server
If I remember correctly you can just minimize the game and select a new server. No need to restart the game. I could be wrong.
If I remember correctly you can just minimize the game and select a new server. No need to restart the game. I could be wrong.
Because nothing ever goes wrong with tabbing out
If enough people bitch and whine about it (So they will notice whining here won't do shit) they will probably make one to be included in the game just like the with Commo-rose and the 3D spotting. they just recently started working on the commo-rose and re-working the 3D spotting because of the alpha.
have fun starting and restarting the game until you find an acceptable server good luck if you get kicked from it or ragequit because that's another 5 minutes to find a decent server
have you used the server browser? to me it looks like people who have played the alpha doesn't mind much
why don't they keep the matchmaking to the consoles
