I wonder what country we'll invade next! Though it seems that Jeb is less diehard conservative... could be a trap, though.
George Bush and Jeb Bush aren't in the slightest bit conservative. George Bush trampled the constitution and spent like a drunken madman. That is the opposite of what a conservative does.

It's no secret that elected politicians make decisions that go against the platform they ran on.
any bush in the white house is good with me. makes the strong decisions that keeps america dominant on the world stage.
I'm tired of these bleeding heart liberals in MY white house, so I'm voting for whoever is NOT OBAMA
Oh god. This was Australia's mentality. Now our current PM thinks he can do whatever the hell he wants because "at least he's not labor".
If he's anything like his brother and also managed to get elected, I might have to actually start an armed rebellion. I'm not going through another eight fucking years of retarded Bush antics.
Where do I sign?
Zombie FDR for President.
Jeb Bush was an alright governor of Florida, but I don't think he has the slightest chance at being President. It's a shame, because I would have rather seen him as President than his brother.
Where do I sign?
I'll fire up the printing press, you unlock the armory. Lets do this.

Someone can claim to be anything they want. That doesn't make it true.

Did I not say in the post quoted that politicians often go against the platforms they run on?
I am going to run for president, We already hit rock bottom with Obama why not have a horse fucker in office? Futashy 2016#Yolo
I am going to run for president, We already hit rock bottom with Obama why not have a horse fucker in office? Futashy 2016#Yolo
Will everyone get a free pony?
Ashes for president 2016#Bestbeardinoffice Besides that other guy wants to bang your horses and never call them again afterwards
I trust a man with a beard and you don't see many bearded politicians. You have my vote.
While core conservatives like Senator Ted Cruz, a putative 2016 rival, have argued that Republicans must nominate the most conservative electable candidate, Bush takes the middle road.
because doubling down on something that the majority of americans don't support will somehow win the majority of americans...
George Bush trampled the constitution and spent like a drunken madman. Stop playing the "People don't like him so he can't be MY political party" no true scotsman game.

Stop playing the "People don't like him so he can't be MY political party" no true scotsman game.
Not every republican is a conservative. Just like not every democrat is a liberal. Also the argument for the voter ID law is retarded on both sides. On one side you have people saying, "You need an ID to buy beer, to drive a car, to get on a plane, ect." On the other side you have people saying, "omg its so racist!"
In all fairness Bush and his crew are neo-conservatives, a specific subset of conservatism that is, by all rational accounts, completely insane
A specific subset that controlled the Republican Party from the 90s until the Tea Party
Over my dead fucking body we're seeing another Bush in office. I did not grow up in a fucking democracy to see my rights, our democracy frauded, the reputation of our nation, and the constitution our forefathers created trampled on by a neo-conservative fascist for eight years, have him support the rich and let them rob the entire country and several others blind for profit, destroy our nation in the twisted name of his power, and leave a democratically elected leader to clean up the mess and the blame. I swear to God on my life that I will not see this democracy turn into a fucking monarchy. We fought a fucking revolution to prevent this, and those same people saw this become a possibility. And if it happens, we shall uphold the near-sacred vow we have had for over 300 years to revolt again if that ever becomes the reality. In the words of Benjamin Franklin, give me liberty, or give me death!
