I never realized how gory DC could be until I looked up King Shark.

I don't think I've ever seen DC do blood and gore to this level.
then you haven't read a lot of dc material.
I honestly prefer it when they use lesser known acting talent.
It has always been an immersion breaker for me if/when I recognize an actor in a film from another film.

It's a thing that has killed many an actor's career. Some actors it doesn't break at all though depending on how well the actor can get into a role and the range they have previously acted in.
Sounds just awful.

That's a nice change, to focus on the villains as the protagonists.
To be honest, I feel as if Jared Leto could do the regular Joker-- but The Joker as a protagonist requires an actor to be able to act as The Joker as a protagonist instead of a villain-- I'm not sure if he can pull it off.
Will Smith can't do Deadshot. I don't see it at all.
I've heard theories that the Joker would be a supporting character, not a part of the main squad. The reasoning goes that Harley can work just fine as a standalone character but the Joker is a major part of her backstory.

Wait, I've been treating the villains as the protagonists all this time...

Holy shit Margot has come a long way since Neighbours.

You can't have Amanda Waller played by anyone other than CCH Pounder.
Couldn't think of a better Deadshot.
You guys might not but i can literally see him as Deadshot.
Jared Leto, not such a good pick however but he'll be okay.

Well, in the comics he was a Supporting Character. Definitely not apart of the squad though, he does become a pain in the ass for the crew later though.

Frank Grillo would have been an amazing Deadshot but he's already playing Crossbones :(
Lobo movie when?

Carol Pounder would be perfect for the role of Amanda Waller.

She was in the animated Assault on Arkham movie.
Not to mention that her role in the Warehouse 13 TV series is almost exactly akin to playing the part of Amanda Waller. She can pull off dark and serious very well.
to anyone who wonders how Leto as joker will go,
think this but with makeup and even crazier and someone possibly dying.

I don't know her from her tv days but she held her own in Wolf of Wall Street. I think she could steal this movie. I'd like to see her and Leto do so well that they get their own insane movie together. That's a movie that Marvel couldn't top, since they don't have a pair of characters like that.
