Watering the flowers with wine huh? I can't help but think I've heard this before. Something about French wine taking the sting out of being occupied.
Local food is overpriced and it's cheaper to buy imported products. Local farmers refuse to sell local produce at acceptable price, claim overpricing is caused by the government and supermarket companies fucking them over. Instead, local farmers piss off locals by bullying the concurrence, blocking highways and being a general annoyance, giving the locals even less reasons to buy their produce.
Nah man, we are not talking about greedy farmers doing shit for the fun of it. Their situation is desperate and the only way for them to make a benefit out of their production is to sell it at a certain price which is higher than the same, but imported, food (due to how supermarkets are regulating their prices). This is because they are taxed to oblivion and we have very, very strict regulations that they need to follow. As a fact, since 2013 bovine farmers lost 20% of their annual revenues and cereal farmers 40%. Before calling them cunts and whatnot, take into consideration that doing such acts is the only way for them to gather attention for the media and the government. No one gives a single shit about them the rest of the time.

I don't care if my food comes from the locals or from Spain. If the Spanish food is cheaper that's what I'll get. It sucks that they're getting fucked over but I shouldn't be the one to suffer from it because I'm completely unrelated to their issue, and so are all the people they block off on the highway whenever they decide to protest.
Spanish Wine Party?
The French don't fuck around, do they
One could argue that fucking around is all they do. After all, if they were productive, you'd think their prices wouldn't be so easily undercut. If their product is clearly superior, general consumers would still be willing to pay a premium for it. This sort of cuntish behavior certainly doesn't help the french when it comes to stereotypes.

US farmers lobby to keep billions of dollars worth of subsidies flowing into their pockets, without which their products simply won't be competitive with Chinese or South American imports.
You take TWELVE STANDARD DRINKS to feel anything? How heavy are you???
It takes quite a bit of wine for me to feel anything as well. Hell, it even takes a bit more of whiskey than the average person to get me drunk. It's a natural tolerance because I only drink a couple times a month and weight about 180.
Ive heard of box-wine but never tanker-wine. Why transport it by such spartan means?
Because a) maybe they bottle the wine in France but most likely b) transporting the liquid by tanker is more volumetric and weight efficient, as opposed to bottling the wine and then transporting the bottles with all of that wasted space in-between the bottles.

[editline]8th April 2016[/editline]
Ive heard of box-wine but never tanker-wine. Why transport it by such spartan means?
Why not? A properly lined truck is going to be chemically inert, and have no impact on the product. Why is it unreasonable to transport it that way? It's not like you are forced to buy it by the swimming pool. Although I'm sure there are plenty of fraternity groups throwing parties that would love the idea.
Ive heard of box-wine but never tanker-wine. Why transport it by such spartan means?
You keep the wine in cedar barrels (Shit dont know how roble is said in English) Why not move in huge fucking lined barrels?
About 170 lbs. I go from not drunk to obscenely drunk, I don't really have the tipsy state that most people have.
Sounds like you just drink too much too quickly.
