I really feel for the kid. I remember one time a young hamster got out of its cage and scurried around my room. I tried to quickly get it but it ran under my foot right as I was stepping down. When I picked it up, it had broken-in teeth and blood coming from its mouth. It was jerking around a lot and then it went limp. To make a long story short: I felt like shit for a long time. No telling how horrible that boy must feel. :crying:
