It kinda sucks if they get a wrong guy, but you can never be too cautious when someone's potentially running around with a gun.

Cameras and guns are held, and look entirely fucking different.[/QUOTE] really, all the time? this happens all the time? ive walked my camera/tripod through downtown phoenix and tempe multiple times without being confronted by police, and even if i were confronted i would understand it. from certain distances a tripod easily looks like a rifle of some sort, and i think checking out a dude walking his camera around at night is a small price to pay for not letting some guy with an actual rifle just walk down the street.
During media class we take our tripods and run around the halls making pew pew sounds
