Meanwhile, the father of the children has filed a lawsuit against the Colombian government in a bid to regain custody of the children.
"Your honor, I should be given custody. I have added additional sleeping quarters to my cave, one for the boys and one for the girls. I have a Minecraft screenshot here, which I handprinted on papyrus, to illustrate the arrangements I have made."
Simlish?

a group of deaf children at a special needs school developed their own language since nobody knew sign language it was in some african country, it was in some radiolab podcast.
Simlish?
There's a more exact term for that, but the language in Sims is actually a combination of different languages for different words.
Looks like a vagina. :pervert:
Are you 10?
Are you 10?
I don't know, is the guy below me?
No
Now all you gotta do is pop a collar on them and sell 'em as slaves.
No
Well there you have it. :buddy:
If it wasn't inhumane, seeing how a child would develop his/her own language would be a very interesting social experiment
They should have left 'em there. For them, their world is ending.
There's a more exact term for that, but the language in Sims is actually a combination of different languages for different words.
I think it'd just be gibberish because it's just nonsensical sounds made into words. EA/Maxis (or was is Will Wright) said the team experimented with Navajo and Tagalog if I remember correctly. But there's another thread we can make for this. On topic, that's pretty neat, making up your own language. I immediately thought of Little Lamplight too when I saw the title. :ninja:
By this logic, every animal that hunts with co-ordination can speak. Lions, for instance.
Yes.
If it wasn't inhumane, seeing how a child would develop his/her own language would be a very interesting social experiment
It isn't inhumane if you don't get caught
It isn't inhumane if you don't get caught
Maybe this was an experiment.
Maybe this was an experiment.
A facepunch experiement. :smug: [sp]The experiment is a win.[/sp]
They didn't bother showing any of the words?
Yeah the first thing I thought of was "Fucking Little Lamplight."
It's perfectly reasonable for this to happen. After all, language is just a method of conveying your thoughts to someone else. It can be done however you choose.
A facepunch experiement. :smug: [sp]The experiment is a win.[/sp]
Yeah, thanks for telling everyone.
Yeah, thanks for telling everyone.
I have 51 internets, we are safe.
I wonder how they would even go about achieving this.
They didn't bother showing any of the words?
It probably wasn't a written language, so there is no equivalent spellings in english.
If it wasn't inhumane, seeing how a child would develop his/her own language would be a very interesting social experiment
I've always wished someone would do something like this. Sure its sort of unfair to the people being tested, but it'd still be awesome to see how intelligent we are when starting from scratch. Hell it'd be awesome enough to just see their faces when they're confronted with modern day technology.
If it wasn't inhumane, seeing how a child would develop his/her own language would be a very interesting social experiment
Didn't some European monarch do that?
They should have descendants and when the cave people population grows high enough they should have their own country.
