If you check in there, nowhere does it say that Boehner specifically believes religion to compulsory. He simply says that since "homosexuality is a choice, then it should not get hate-cime protection." The article writers just extrapolated this to put words in his mouth that [I]by Republican logic,[/I] everything they wish to protect with this bill must be not any sort of choice. This is just someone calling the senator out of bullshit. It's painfully obvious that the senator just feels threatened by homosexuality and is pulling stuff outta his ass to justify it.
