The aid is just a roundabout way by the american government to subsidize its own arms sector and helps strengthen relations with an allied state.
Also what's with all the country rp lol? nobody is here is responsible for his country's foreign policy you guys should just chill.
Didn't Israel sell US secrets to the Chinese?
How do you defend that Melnek?
Didn't Israel sell US secrets to the Chinese?

it wasn't secrets, it was mostly drones, and i don't defend it
it wasn't secrets, it was mostly drones, and i don't defend it
so, military hardware is sold to the chinese, and the US should still keep giving you money even though, you're pretty much an unreliable ally?
do you guys ever wonder why israeli officials act the way they do?
do you guys ever ask yourself how, in a supposed region-leading democracy, people almost appear to be completely brainwashed?
If there was a point in history where all the Jews in the world suddenly stopped believing in a holy land, none of them would've ever wanted to go back there and the state of Israel never would've been created. That isn't what happened, so obviously there was no shortage of people who believed that Israel held some sort of religious significance back when the state first formed, and of course there was going to be some zealots among those people. This all happened less than a century ago: a tiny fraction of what it took for the Catholics to leave the place alone, and some Protestant sects are still crazy about it. You can't expect zeal to just disappear within a matter of decades.

again, i never argued that the US should keep sending us money, i just explained why they do it
and while we may not be the most reliable nation, we are still americas best (and only) bet.

It's logically consistent. Not needing something isn't the same as gaining a mutually beneficial affect from something.
They've said the same things about obama being anti israeli and anti semetic. Israel whines constantly about something while they shout at Palestinians to stop complaining.
I'm aware, but I don't think he's necessarily abandoned the Jewish faith either, he just isn't a seriously devoute Jew.
Jew here. There's no Jew that doesn't celebrate Rosh Hashanah. It doesn't matter if you're atheistic or not--- it's like a Christian skipping Christmas. Rosh Hashanah is a cultural holiday that any actual Jew will celebrate.
That being said, most of the Israeli/Jewish community that I know were supporting him pretty much stopped doing so after the "10,000, maybe more" statement. A lot of us are pretty damn livid, honestly. A politician shouldn't comment on a matter in which they're clueless about-- especially on primetime television; Bernie's willing to comment on matters in which he has not the faintest idea on genuinely make me concerned about his hypothetical presidency. Makes me wonder what he'll actually be like in office...
"I'm very ashamed of Israel's murder of ten thousand Palestinians. All thirty thousand Palestinians which died in the attacks were surely innocents; and I will call for Israel to answer for the eighty thousand Palestinians killed. Netanyahu's murder of two hundred thousand Palestinians is no mere joke, and I, President Sanders, will ensure that Israel answers for every one of the tens of million innocent lives that were mercilessly slaughtered by these people."
In all seriousness, though, a politician shouldn't comment on matters in which they're entirely clueless about. I remember from the follow-up interview, one of the reporters essentially asked "How would you handle the Israel-Palestine conflict?".
His response was literally along the lines of "Well, I don't know, but I'm sure there are ways to handle it." He's clueless. It's pathetic.

Bullshit that's Ben Stiller in a wig
it's like a Christian skipping Christmas.
That does happen all the time lol.

The follow up interview I heard he called for a two state solution but was not certain on 1967 borders. He also stated Israel had a right to exist and that he lived there for a few months and thought it was beautiful and has family in Israel.
Do you seriously think that Israeli officers just look at a map, say fuck it, and point at a random house to bomb? The reason why the IDF keeps on striking these houses is to destroy the rockets that are being stored in them.
Also, could you not post paywalled sources? It says I have to pay to read the article.
Besides, the patients you were so concerned about got out fine

15 minutes is plenty of time considering the 15 second warnings that Israeli civilians had when Hamas launched rockets at them.
Perhaps if they stopped building inside palestine and left a nice sensible sized no mans land between the two countries, neither party would be successful in killing each others civilians?

Absolutely fucking not.
Something does not become OK by virtue of someone else doing something worse. That is not and will never be the fucking case.
Lmao at the people who aren't considering we make much more than 12 billion dollars a year off of Israel due to tourism, trade, cooperation between corporations, etc
Israel has a stake in the American economy just as much as we do.

What does that supposed to mean? elaborate.
What does that supposed to mean? elaborate.
I imagine they mean a demilitarized zone, like the one between North and South Korea. Basically a stretch of land a mile or two wide that neither party can enter or cross.

That's kinda pointless tbh, You have borders for that

Yeah? And?

Hamas are backwards savages, Israel doing similar things is 1000x worse because they're an organized government and not just terrorists.
That's kinda pointless tbh, You have borders for that
A lot of good that's done. I keep getting bored by arguments about whether the terrorists shooting rockets or the genocidal state are to blame for civilian killings.
It's time to be done with the lot of it and just have a demilitarised zone between them.
What does that supposed to mean? elaborate.
I mean I'm fed up of seeing people arguing about who is responsible for killing civilians. Nobody should be killing civilians. It needs to stop, back in 1948 if possible.

Yeah sorry to disappoint you but this is the middle east, making a no man's land wont do shit (even considering that the area is super small) Demilitarised or not, there will still be rockets and terror tunnels.
But hey, ever since we built that wall suicide bombing attacks against civilians was reduced to zero, so thats a plus.
bernie tried again and failed again

He actually never said "10,000 palestinians died"
He said, "I think it was 10,000 but im not sure, do you know?" then the interviewer said something like "it was 10,000 injured" and bernie said "oh alright"
Slanted media wooo
Also he didn't fucking say it wasn't important lol.
on avg. 250 millions USD/year are sent from USA to Palestine since 2007, over 6.5 billion in total since the $ started to flow ages ago

similar amount is being tossed by EU plus UN and then other 'donors' ....
if PA actually cared about theirs country it would easily beat Dubai
