that video looks like a 10 year old trying to act
like i don't want to jump on the faked bandwagon but jesus christ
[editline]03:10AM[/editline]
what do you mean? the flat edge of a brick?
if he got hit with that there wouldn't be any blood
maybe just PART of the brick.
What you lose on the hurdy-gurdy you pick up on the roundabout
maybe just PART of the brick.
Here's the thing: no matter the shape of it, if it hit him with a blunt edge then he should be bleeding, if it's flat then he should just be out cold. But he's not out cold, in fact he looks like he's completely awake and attempting to look woozy. Plus he's bleeding everywhere (with an unconvincing wound)
These things don't really point to it being fake but there's just quite a few problems with it that make me question it's legitimacy.

I don't see any wound, that much blood has to come out of a visible wound.

You do know that head wounds bleed a lot more than regular wounds, right? And the idea of faking this is absurd, as the minor public image increase isn't worth the very high chance someone would talk and completely destory your career.
I thought it was going to be him staging him saving a kid to look good. But this looks like he's generally saving the kid
Only Facepunch can make a situation in which a hero saves someones life sound so terrible and sinful.
seriously stop nitpicking what the fuck
It wouldn't surprise me if the blood was a little 'shopped. These days, it seems like there's always a little post-processing done after shooting anything. Even if it's just basic stuff in something like Lightroom.
Awesome to have seen this. Nice that he took care of that kid out of the blue.

You must have a Ph.D
Blood is so fucking shopped it's like they didn't even try.
There's a video.
Watch it.
Good move Cooper.
Do they have any idea what happened to him? (I know the article said no. I mean any new developments)
What you lose on the hurdy-gurdy you pick up on the roundabout
Like Cheese rings and Chicken.
But with human lives.
The amount of hemoglobin (red blood cells) that are in a person can differ slightly, this may cause some peoples blood to be brighter than others if its fresh.
Yes but Blacks tend to have different forms of sickle cell, and other forms of anemia. Making it genetically unlikely a child of such a racial background to have such bright red blood. Still possible though.
Well, that was nice of Cooper.
And it was just so convenient that there was a camera nearby.
This thread makes me realize how much I hate facepunch

at first I was going to go "are you serious"
then I fucking loled
[editline]07:52AM[/editline]
well played
Why is his blood so bright?
Could be coming out of a very oxygen rich blood vessel, and he could have more hemoglobin than other people.
Or he could have Firetruck red paint all over him.
Whoever was behind the camera was a fucking asshole
From what I can remember, some jobs require the camera operator to sign a contract stating they will not interfere in anything they're filming.
I don't trust Anderson Cooper.
He is clearly hiding something.
From what I can remember, some jobs require the camera operator to sign a contract stating they will not interfere in anything they're filming.
Yeah I'd like to see a network take that to court.
Judge is like "Let me get this straight. You are suing your employee because instead of making you money he helped to save lives in a disaster zone that you fuckin sent him to?"
I wonder what happened to Tony the American Businessman, he was taken away and they don't know where he is...
I can say for certain that the amount of blood that you see and it's brightness are real. When I was younger, I was hit in the head with a golf club, leaving a gaping you couldn't see well because the skin isn't that deep on the skull. It was about 2 inches long, and it required 2 towels before the bleeding stopped(after about 20 minutes), and it bleed profusely for the first 5 minutes.
The head really does bleed like the picture shows.
Another thing - Don't bash reporters and photographers. You wouldn't even know about this happening if not for the photographer. I'm studying this at my University you you learn about the lines drawn between reporting/observing and interacting. If you can help someone, while reporting it, then do it. If you need everyone to help, then mount a camera on a tripod and help while recording, or even help while filming with a smaller camera. Photog's can report while being a part of the story if it's a horrible situation like what's happening in Haiti.
Everyone is so god damned jaded that they really can't think someone would want to help another human being. Not everyone is a fucking prick, you know.
most of them still are; clearly the one taking the picture was either an asshole or decided "nah he's helping him"
Without that cameraman we wouldn't call Anderson Cooper badass.
Without that cameraman we wouldn't call Anderson Cooper badass.
Which is why this seems sketchy.
If a celebrity actually gave a shit about helping people we probably wouldn't know about it.
[editline]11:56AM[/editline]
It's not like TMZ is reporting from Haiti right now.
[editline]11:57AM[/editline]
And if they are they are incredibly shameful.

I'm going to go ahead and give him the benefit of the doubt anyways. Anderson Cooper has always been a decent guy as far as I've seen.
Damn, I read "Alice Cooper".
Still an awesome guy.
The poison running through his veins would make it difficult to save anyone.
News reporters go to disaster zones and report the news, this fucker makes it!
Holy shit Anderson Cooper is hardcore.
The amount of hemoglobin (red blood cells) that are in a person can differ slightly, this may cause some peoples blood to be brighter than others if its fresh.
You think deficiencies might do this too? Perhaps iron deficiencies or something of the sort?

Fuck you, what the fuck do you know? Have you ever been hit on the head really hard? No you fucking haven't so keep your god damn mouth shut if you don't even know the shit you're talking about.
