It's important to note that HIV is suffering from natural selection. Strains that are too aggresive and kill the host too fast are dying.

People seem to forget how fast the rate of technology is running. less than 10 years ago we didn't even have smart phones, just under 30 years ago we didn't even have the internet as we know it. It wasn't until 1931 that the first computers as we would understand them came to be. And only until 1944 that colossus, one of the first programmable computers was built. Technology does not advance in a linear fashion, technology creates technology and the rate at which it shall advance is both scary and exciting in my opinion.

Closer and closer to this future.
Imagine an HIV free Africa, it would solve so damn many problems.
It would solve HIV. Everything else would still be fucked if not worse because of population growth.
Imagine an HIV free Africa, it would solve so damn many problems.
Well the massive death by HIV, but they have so many other problems that they'll never pull themselves together
Well the massive death by HIV, but they have so many other problems that they'll never pull themselves together
Any system that could widespread get this to Africa would be able to help with a lot of there other issues though too.
I really hope that in the next 20 years HIV, AIDS, all forms of cancer, MS, Alzheimers disease and so on can be cured. We seem to be on the edge of making a cure for almost every disease. If we survive the next 2-3 decades and provided you have the money, you may be able to live forever.
i saw on another article on the website that scientists discovered a compound that restores youthful function in both brain and muscle tissue in mice, but this felt a bit more newsworthy
Only a psycho would be against this
Gay men will have sex in the streets! Think about the children!
It would solve HIV. Getting rid of HIV in Africa is nice but the place needs more food and water to go around first.
