Exacly, me too. I don't believe in drugs of any sort. I don't like alcohol, tobacc or any other drugs. I do not support legalization. I mean look at what alcohol does, and how many crimes and accidents involve alchohol? I don't want more of that.
When was the last time you saw someone get stoned and get violent/confrontational like drunk people can be?
Damn man, you're hardcore.
Still, drugs are a very important part of society as far as medicine goes. Recreational drugs are also very fun when used in a social situation.
I support drugs in medical use, but not for 'fun'.
Exacly, me too. I don't believe in drugs of any sort. I don't like alcohol, tobacc or any other drugs. I do not support legalization. I mean look at what alcohol does, and how many crimes and accidents involve alchohol? I don't want more of that.
To be fair weed impairs you in a different way than alcohol does. Not to say that people wouldn't be able to abuse it and cause accidents (not just automobile obviously), but a pretty large amount of people already do smoke regardless of the legality and you don't exactly hear about how a guy got high off his ass and caused something horrible.
I do see where you're coming from though, which is why I agree with restrictions on where you can and cannot be high.
I do not.
You ever consume sugar? It has an effect on your mental state so calling it a drug isn't much of a stretch.
I support drugs in medical use, but not for 'fun'.
You really think legalized bud would cause problems?
All of your sources (see thread I linked to) bitch about how WEED is harmful no matter HOW you consume it. Until now you also bitched that WEED has harmful side effects, with no implication at you meaning smoking it, and carried the argument on without any implication of that. Even in this last log you argue that the smoke why it's illegal (which isn't even why it's illegal), but then go on to argue that it is in fact the weed itself and not just the smoke.
Here's a bit from the last chatlog when you had your previous breakdown.
11:48 PM - : "Marijuana smoke and cigarette smoke contain many of the same toxins, including one which has been identified as a key factor in the promotion of lung cancer."
11:48 PM - : SMOKE
11:48 PM - : not the marijuana
11:48 PM - : the SMOKE
11:48 PM - mKTank: 1:18 AM - : show me one case of weed causing anything negative to a person and I'll stop smoking
11:48 PM - mKTank: SMOKING.
11:48 PM - : i said WEED causing anything
11:48 PM - mKTank: you smoke though.
11:48 PM - mKTank: which is the point.
It's been smoke all along.
When you're done PMSing and misunderstanding everything I say, it'd be nice if you'd unblock me so we can carry on.
I support drugs in medical use, but not for 'fun'.
Do you want to ban automobile racing then? Do you support cars for practical use but not for "fun"?
People die in sanctioned races all the time.
I support drugs in medical use, but not for 'fun'.
so I take it you're for the legalization of medicinal marijuana, but not recreational legalization?
Legalize, sure. But there has to be some kind of limit. I wouldn't enjoy seeing the streets filled with high people.
In the Californian inititive to legalize, it's illegal to smoke on the streets i'm pretty sure, which makes sence. I'd be willing to bet any other states that try to pass these laws would also make it illegal in public.
so I take it you're for the legalization of medicinal marijuana, but not recreational legalization?
Christ man, stop trying to start shit.

I'm pretty sure that public stoned laws would line up with public drunkenness laws.

You've been unblocked for a while now, I even sent a message saying unblocked.
Now that you've actually specified that you're arguing against the smoke there's nothing to argue about because I fully agree that the smoke is damaging, but nothing in the weed itself is.
You ever consume sugar? It has an effect on your mental state so calling it a drug isn't much of a stretch.
Yes. But I wouldn't call sugar drugs, because it's something we need and it doesn't really make me 'high', nor do I eat sugar for enjoyment.
Apparently idiots that say it's bad to begin with will pull anything out their ass to defend that
It's funny because it messes with nature but it's all natural as well :v:
Christ man, stop trying to start shit.
I'm not, if he was for medicinal then I just wanted to mention that just about anybody can get a card, and there's still nothing preventing it being sold as it already is, so it's rather pointless to only be for medicinal.
Exacly, me too. I don't believe in drugs of any sort. I don't like alcohol, tobacc or any other drugs. I do not support legalization. I mean look at what alcohol does, and how many crimes and accidents involve alchohol? I don't want more of that.
What makes you think if it's legalized, all these problems would arise from nowhere?
Do you want to ban automobile racing then? Do you support cars for practical use but not for "fun"?

I've never been affected by automobile races. But I've had experiences with high people and drunk people, unpleasent ones.
Yes. But I wouldn't call sugar drugs, because it's something we need and it doesn't really make me 'high', nor do I eat sugar for enjoyment.
So if you shot up a syringe of adrenaline, would you not consider yourself to be taking drugs?
Yes. But I wouldn't call sugar drugs, because it's something we need and it doesn't really make me 'high', nor do I eat sugar for enjoyment.
It's just as much a drug as caffeine is. You don't need to get high on it for it to be a drug.
I've never been affected by automobile races. But I've had experiences with high people and drunk people, unpleasent ones.
Why should your experiences and morality get to dictate legislation?
I'm pretty sure that public stoned laws would line up with public drunkenness laws.
Yes, pretty much. I think it's probably a good thing, even if a drunk person is much more likely to be the one to start up trouble.
SMOKE WEED EVERY DAY.
Ahhh yeah.
What makes you think if it's legalized, all these problems would arise from nowhere?
Because people will do stuff they normally wouldn't do when they are affected by stronger drugs.
I've never been affected by automobile races. But I've had experiences with high people and drunk people, unpleasent ones.
Never in my life have I seen anybody unpleasant while high. Annoying, possibly, but not unpleasant.
Weed can be used to treat ADHD, i don't think it would be a cause for it.
IIRC, only strong sativa strains are used in the treatment of AD[H]D.
Exacly, me too. I don't believe in drugs of any sort. I don't like alcohol, tobacc or any other drugs. I do not support legalization. I mean look at what alcohol does, and how many crimes and accidents involve alchohol? I don't want more of that.
I have seen 5 people nearly killed as a result of drinking to much while volunteering as an EMT in the last year, I have only seen one call involving weed. Some kid fell down running from a cop that caught him smoking a joint, he landed on his ass.
The only complications he suffered from it were that it was uncomfortable to sit down for a few hours afterwords.
Alcohol is only as dangerous as the person drinking it. It is a stupidity enhancing drug in large amounts, it only makes you do stupid shit if you are an idiot to begin with.
Because people will do stuff they normally wouldn't do when they are affected by stronger drugs.
Replace "drugs" with "emotions" and you get the same deal.
Go watch the movie Equilibrium, you'll like it.
It's just as much a drug as caffeine is. You don't need to get high on it for it to be a drug.
Alright well back to an older statement of mine, I look at the 'high' part as a side-effect.
Because people will do stuff they normally wouldn't do when they are affected by stronger drugs.
Uh, why would the weed become stronger and have any other effects in addition to the they ALREADY have
Because people will do stuff they normally wouldn't do when they are affected by stronger drugs.
This is pure bullshit. It's like saying you enfore future crime prevention and such.
