It works just fine if you stylize it. I'm often extremely sarcastic here and it comes off as such.

For instance, a good reply to just reading like, the title of the thread and nothing else since I don't feel like coming up with a reply that takes much effort:

"yeah because we [I]totally[/I] want people recording our children."

I mean I'm not trying to be witty or make a reply that doesn't sound like it's coming from a concerned soccermom, but you can tell that I'm not being serious, and that's what matters in this example.

What I find a little creepy isn't what Mattel makes of the recordings but the fact that it sends emails to the parents. That's just weird.
