It kind of feels like McMaster's statement last night was the first time the administration's credibility deficit really came home to roost. With previous bullshit there was at least a period of 'well, the White House made this claim but they haven't really backed it up...' before it was proven untrue. This time it felt like everyone outside of the Trump hardcore just rejected it immediately

You know, Trump said he could stand in the middle of Times Square and shoot someone, and nobody would bat an eye. Well honestly, if nothing happens to him now, I honestly think that statement he made would prove true. People would see it, report it, but he could get away with it.
