Have you not read the article or any of the posts? C'mon man.
Yes I've read it. Can you give me something to respond to and not this condescending BS because you can't think of anything better to say? He talked to Russia about terrorism and flight safety, what is everyone freaking out about?
You know what, any reasonable person can see through the charade, I'll skip replying to hardcore denial from now on, what a waste of time They sent a guy which denied it, trump then admitted it, sharing things their allies don't want to be shared with an hostile country which is fighting for influence of syria against NATO, the point is simple
What are you saying, he said irony to not wanting people to lie about stuff and the only people that lied here was the trump administration so your post and his are just unclear and confusing
I meant to include this
I wanted to share with Russia which I have the absolute right to do

WaPo has published more things that the WH said were fake then later revealed to be true, than they have actually posted made up stuff. I don't trust anonymous sources but if its WaPo or the WH, I know who I'm with.
Not even 12 hours later.
My old hometown's Trump supporters: Yep, as expected they took the "it doesn't matter" route.
So talking to Russia is an impeachable offence?
It depends If you talk about how delicious is Goulash, I don't see the problem. Now, I invite you to enter Langley, grab a classified file, read it and then go tell the Ambassador of Russia whatever was in that file. If you don't understand whats WRONG with that...you shouldn't even have the ability to vote...
One thing I don't know if anyone noticed: how come his tweets regarding this are 10 minutes apart? :v:
Yes I've read it. Can you give me something to respond to and not this condescending BS because you can't think of anything better to say? He talked to Russia about terrorism and flight safety, what is everyone freaking out about?
You're getting this condescending BS because you keep ignoring all the posts regarding the fact that he spoke about private information that our allies are not aware of, meaning Russia should definitely be last on that list. The whole "terrorism and flight safety" is such a general statement when we have people vouching that he gave classified info.
If Obama had done any of this you guys would be flipping tables and punching liberals clawing for answers but here you sit complacent as fuck with daddy don telling you lies to your face through the White House which you all lap up like the obedient loyal voters he wanted you to be when he then comes out and says stuff with his own mouth face and twitter account that contradicts this you can't even have the honesty to YOURSELVES to talk about this plainly
I'm all but certain the piss tape is real at this point. God I hope it comes out
As I've said before, at this point of the game finding out that Trump likes being peed on would be one of the least disgusting things we find out about him.
Just incase it was missed, NYT just confirmed the ally in question was Israel

Can you guys maybe go 1 page without overexaggerating shit
My old hometown's Trump supporters: Yep, as expected they took the "it doesn't matter" route.
But look at that headline, Trump CONFIRMS that he shared information with Russian officials. I mean, of COURSE he shared information. They had a damn conversation, that's what sharing information is! Just using these buzzwords and ridiculous headlines in order to try to plant these ideas into peoples heads. In what world is sharing information bad?
But look at that headline, Trump CONFIRMS that he shared information with Russian officials. I mean, of COURSE he shared information. In what world is sharing information bad?
Sharing is bad on the basis that Israel told us not to share it
Just incase it was missed, NYT just confirmed the ally in question was Israel
I gathered from /pol/ salivating at Daddy Trump "BTFO the jews".
But that's not even close to what happened? Can you guys maybe go 1 page without overexaggerating shit
please just log off, you've been pretending to read comments and then replying to what you want them to say for the last seventeen pages
I wonder if people are going to vote so hard that Trump gets impeached. ...or the country descends into civil war. :thatwasfunnyright:
Either would be... quite interesting. Though of course, one outcome would undoubtedly be horrific.
I was disappointed that he won the election, but I kept a clear head and positivism that he won't totally screw up. Now we have him leaking private government information to the Russian Prime Minister. Just fucking shoot down any remaining optimism left in me!
A bit more serious answer: as far as I'm aware, no other sitting president in US history has personally leaked sensitive national security information to a hostile foreign government, intentionally or otherwise. This is unprecedented. The Trump administration's new official response is confirming that information was leaked, but they are attempting to downplay just how serious this situation is, saying that the leaked info wasn't that bad and that it was somehow actually "appropriate" to disclose it to the Russian government.
Watch as this bites us in the ass when Russia decides to rob our money or decide to maneuver around troop placements out of state.
please just log off, you've been pretending to read comments and then replying to what you want them to say for the last seventeen pages
He's following the textbook example of confirmation bias. He's picking and choosing information that makes him look good, while ignoring any valid arguments. You can't debate with someone who refuses to actually debate.
Sharing information can be fine. Sharing information that can jeopardize the US' relationship with allies during a war has awful implications for the US on the international stage. Sorry for the accidental star.
If someone emphatically denies a story that ends up being true then switches gears to "well it happened but its not that bad or important" then at that point you can just stop replying to them because they clearly aren't interested in a discussion. Trump never does anything wrong, all the news you read is fake, and you're a histrionic idiot.
Trump's twitter banner is great. Makes me want to tweet him "Hey, Nice header. Do any black people work with you?"
I actually tweeted him the other day. If the black helicopters/vans come for me, my code-word will be "Mandarin". [editline]16th May 2017[/editline]
Wouldnt make much difference if he was guilty, his own bold statement that he would still have a load of supporters if he shot somebody in broad daylight considered on that front. At this point it's quite easy to see that his die-hards will support him to the end, even if he gets impeached and tossed on his ass into a prison cell. At that point, they'd probably issue a call to arms against the "Deep State" to liberate the country from those damned leftist scum. :downs:
I could see the defensive responses now... "He was being mugged!" "It was an accidental discharge!" "The victim was part of Anti-Fa so he was asking for it!"
Just a point that's the daily mail, so of course it's going to be shit (right wing bias, no credibility). Also, as mentioned above:
WASHINGTON — The classified intelligence that President Von Clownstick disclosed in a meeting last week with Russian officials at the White House was provided by Israel, according to a current and a former American official familiar with how the United States obtained the information. The revelation adds a potential diplomatic complication to the episode. Israel is one of the United States’ most important allies and a major intelligence collector in the Middle East. The revelation that Mr. Von Clownstick boasted about some of Israel’s most sensitive information to the Russians could damage the relationship between the two countries. It also raises the possibility that the information could be passed to Iran, Russia’s close ally and Israel’s main threat in the Middle East.
NYT
But that's not even close to what happened? Can you guys maybe go 1 page without overexaggerating shit
Okay how about this Trump holds a closed door meeting with Russian officials, bars US press, invites Russian press Later, it comes out that Trump may have discussed potentially sensitive information in that closed door meeting The White House denies potentially sensitive information was discussed in the closed door meeting Some hours later, Trump takes to Twitter talking about how he wanted to share with the Russians The White House changes their stance, a press conference is called In this press conference their stance is now that yes, Trump discussed something in that meeting. No concrete answers are given whether or not it was potentially sensitive information, but they also refuse to detail what exactly was discussed because of the potential national security threat Maybe I'm just paranoid but if it's deemed important enough to national security that they can't give any specifics to the US press, maybe, just maybe it wasn't the kind of information that should have been openly discussed with Russian officials
Sharing information can be fine. Sharing information that can jeopardize the US' relationship with allies during a war has awful implications for the US on the international stage. Sorry for the accidental star.
So far I am aware, we are in a war against ISIS, and Russia is too. I don't trust Russia's government at all, but I don't see why informing them on how to prevent more terrorist attacks taking place on their country's airlines is a bad idea at all, especially if it is about a plot that has been reported in the global media for months now. I don't hold anything against Russian civilians. You know, not only Russian civilians use those planes. And no-one wants to lose a loved one in an terrorist attack that could have been prevented.
Trump's twitter banner is great. Makes me want to tweet him "Hey, Nice header. Do any black people work with you?"
Is Ben Carson getting the George Zimmerman treatment from you lot now?
But that's not even close to what happened? Can you guys maybe go 1 page without overexaggerating shit
So explain me. Us. What happened?
Trump supporters like Nesto have become the lowest common denominator in our society. Jesus Christ man.
I see this is picking up on FP right now but there's nothing I can find about why this might be on local media. Can anyone give me a quick intro to why the thread suddenly picked up speed today?
Maybe I'm just paranoid but if it's deemed important enough to national security that they can't give any specifics to the US press, maybe, just maybe it wasn't the kind of information that should have been openly discussed with Russian officials
I'm not supporting trump or nesto here, but, in the interest of discussion, would not such information be okay to share so long as the public at large would not be able to hear about it? If the details were spoken in public then not only Russia, but also ISIS would know about them. Ofcourse, this is setting aside the issue that Israel asked us nicely not to disclose that information supposedly.
