At this point I'm willing to take that chance. Pence may be a shit human being, but at the very least, he's not Caligula reincarnated, and won't go for shitty pipe dreams like a useless wall, and cut funding for other important stuff in the process.
Well this will probably hurt the republicans in the mid terms and potentially leave whoever replaces trump unable to actually pass laws or affect any real change.

There's no "tapes" as Trump would say. But they have something akin to minutes of the meeting.

Now, see, in the beginning, people joked that Trump picked Pence because people wouldn't want to assassinate Trump for fear of putting Pence in charge, because Pence has some pretty gross ideas.
But now it's escalated to the point that Pence would be preferable to Trump, given the discovery of corruption, possible collusion, obstruction of justice, and others since his first 100 or so days in office.

I'll admit that I was one of the people that claimed Pence was Trump's ultimate insurance policy. I also had thoughts about voting Trump under the assumption that he was going to be a lame duck, leashed by Congress.
I now see the error in my thoughts, and I am now happy (no, not happy, less sad) that I voted Clinton, despite my incredible hatred for her...
