is this the straw that breaks the administrations back?
Trump had more straws than all US fast food chains use in a year.

isn't it part of the job description as potus to trade secret and classified info? [editline]15th May 2017[/editline] I mean that as a hyperbole, don't jump at semantics
The national security adviser and secretary of state (who were in the meeting) said it didn't happen... The Washington Post is essentially in a jihad against the POTUS ever since Trump won the election... Taking this with a g̶r̶a̶i̶n̶ mountain of salt. Why would Russia want to sabotage the United State's fight against ISIS? Even if they did, they're still aiding the Syria regime, which is also fighting ISIS. This whole thing reeks of fake news

I think this tweet is the most important one. The WH will have a hard time convincing reporters and the public it is telling the truth

which is why he ran away before more questions were asked
And Mattis threatened to quit if Trump didn't listen to him. The military appointees overwhelmingly don't play that political shit and McMaster has made that clear with his stance on Trump saying radical islamic terrorism. He doesn't need the job, he was picked to do it.
I mean you were wrong last time you defended the White House statements, Trump came out and said exactly what you said wasn't true. So I'm not really going to take what you say as anything other than perhaps ill informed
It's been independently confirmed by NYTimes and Reuters
Its been debunked by the fucking people in the room.
Its been debunked by the fucking people in the room.
that no reporters outside of the Russians were allowed to attend.
Its been debunked by the fucking people in the room.
Who have their own reasons to lie about it I'm not going to call this truth until we find out for sure but anyone in the white house speaking for the white house currently has 0 credibility. They died on a hill over fucking inauguration crowds, they have no credibility so if they are right, and this didn't happen, that'll come to light.
Why would Russia want access to US intelligence gathering strategies in Syria? Gee I can't imagine why.
It's an independent source. An ally of the United States, and presumably other countries as well. The United States doesn't have control over how that ally operates or what information they collect.
if they are right, and this didn't happen, that'll come to light.
How can you disprove such a story? Release the transcripts of the meeting? Do transcripts even exist? Lol. Don't be silly
Its been debunked by the fucking people in the room.
Wouldn't be the first time they lied about involvement with Russia.
Its been debunked by the fucking people in the room.
Very, very few people are going to take their word for it in particular because the administration is headed by a monstrous manchild who spent an entire election campaign crying about "fake news" and continued to do so even after winning. Who has spent every day in office being either a massive hypocrite, or an actually awful leader. I would trust the collective research of the incredibly shit US news media over your current administration any day, at least your news media are right some of the time compared to none of the time.
It's an independent source. An ally of the United States, and presumably other countries as well. The United States doesn't have control over how that ally operates or what information they collect.
Which is why they shouldn't leak this shit in the first place. I'm no expert, but undermining our allies' ability to collect intelligence and endangering their sources probably isn't the best idea.
Who have their own reasons to lie about it I'm not going to call this truth until we find out for sure but anyone in the white house speaking for the white house currently has 0 credibility. And Mattis has zero credibility according to you aswell.
So I'm not really going to take what you say as anything other than perhaps ill informed
Ahem.
McMaster didn't say what I wanna hear, he has zero credibility now. And Mattis has zero credibility according to you aswell. Ahem.
In regards to statements made from the White House, no. I trust Mattis to do his job. I don't trust him to through the current administration under the bus. As he is part of it. I mean Trump has flat out lied and you've covered for that before, I feel like you're getting a little lost here man
you seem very impartial
Trump is very outspoken on shutting down any criticism towards him, he did spent his election and post-election speaking about 'fake news' and he IS a hypocrite(just look at what he's said and posted on twitter about Obama compared to what he's done now) and is one of the most unpopular presidents in US history. His dislike towards Trump doesn't invalidated what he said.
you seem very impartial
If we get into the topic of impartiality, how impartial are you? it seems like not very considering you'd defending them with little to no evidence.
McMaster didn't say what I wanna hear, he has zero credibility now. And Mattis has zero credibility according to you aswell. Ahem.
Its almost like you're taking the people responsible for the leaks word for it. No investment here folks. one of the guys responsible said "He didn't do it" it must be true.
How long until Trump himself speaks out and blows their carefully constructed "sources, methods and operations" denial?
I just wish I could trust the White House or any of their spokespeople. But that is no longer the case, even if they are a military personnel, though I would say I am willing to listen to them more than Spicy or Sanders
If we get into the topic of impartiality, how impartial are you? it seems like not very considering you'd defending them with little to no evidence. No investment here folks. one of the guys responsible said "He didn't do it" it must be true.
Little to no evidence? Are you serious? High level government officials who were there said it didn't happen is less credible than allegations from an "anonymous source"? Even if you don't believe that they're telling the truth, it's still more verifiable than an anonymous source.
I'll take the 3 star general who actually challenges the adminstration on their policies over random "US officials". The media needs to start producing actual hard evidence instead of hearsay.
Its been debunked by the fucking people in the room.
No it wasn't. The SoS and McMaster both were INCREDIBLY coy with their denials. They denied sources and methods were revealed which the WaPo story literally never claimed. They denied something that was never alleged. If that isn't damning I don't what what else would be. They never denied the substance of the WaPo story.
Looks like the administration is starting to coalesce around a strategy, and that strategy seems to be complete denial. A dangerous gambit, because if even an ounce of this story is true, the story flies off the rails and suddenly they're contending with accusations of a cover-up, on top of everything else that's been piling on lately. There doesn't seem to be an easy way out for them, PR-wise.
