Romney: ‘Nuclear weaponry will be used’ if Obama re-elected

You know, I had a small amount of respect for Romney before all of this. That's now completely gone.

The sun clearly orbits the ego of the GOP.
Another Republican who uses war/fear mongering? Shocking.
I've never gotten the whole panic over Iran getting nuclear power. Yes, they're not exactly friendly with a lot of countries, but neither is the United States. I just look at it as a country trying to better itself through finding new means of producing electricity. To suggest that it'll end in war simply because Obama may get re-elected is extremely immature and completely stupid.
You can't spell Mormon without Moron.
More like "Nuclear Weaponry will be used if we keep bothering Iran.'
But...Romney himself can easily be bribed to do so.
I don't understand American politics. Are republicans the assholes? Similar to British Conservatives?
British conservatives are at least somehow sophisticated.
Republicans are technically stereotypical rednecks, hillbillies and Jesus freaks.
"Nuclear weaponry will be used, and then Hitler will come back to life, and the seven plagues of egypt will happen again and by god we'll be all doomed !"

Or corporate goons. Don't forget the corporate goons.
These shit-talking capitalists should be put in the sodding nursing home already. Why they're even allowed to go anywhere NEAR politics is beyond my comprehension.
Sounds a lot like a threat on Obama, isn't that treason?
Yeah but it's not like politicians don't get away with stuff like this anymore, especially since this is a GOP candidate we're talking about here.

Not to mention it's hypocritical. If Iran supposedly "isn't allowed" to have nuclear capabilities (whether for energy or for weapons), that means India can't, China can't, Pakistan can't, and Israel can't.
But oh that's right, they already do.
Now he just sounds desperate. Seems to me like Romney wants a war with Iran, which to me seems like it would up the odds of "someone" using nukes.

I just realized that not only is this fear-mongering, he's also appealing to those of us that lived through the Cold War.
Essentially, he's giving the message that if Obama is re-elected, what didn't happen for the entire Cold War will happen within the next year or so.
You know, that's a good point. From what little I know of the Cold War and the relations between the US and Russia of that time, I'm not exactly worried about Iran. Maybe I'm being stupid, but there it is.
Bring it on and nuke the white house, Romney! Someone give me the jackson popcorn gif.

I'm not saying that they definitely aren't working on a nuclear weapon, because it is possible. However, to assume that they definitely are is ridiculous because no evidence has surfaced to suggest that.
As for one being in the hands of a religious state, what of Israel? Are they not a state made from religion? Do they not support violent extremist groups like some of the more aggressive settlers in the West Bank? Do you not see how this is analogous to Iran in any way?
