The problem is, 2 WTC isn't going to built fully, at least, not yet. The idea is to build it to grade and wait two years, since they're aren't enough tenants looking for space right now. At the end of the two years either:
A. Tenants become available, and the tower is fully built.
B. There aren't enough tenants and only the towers retail stump (base) is built.
If B happens, they will build the stump and wait until there are enough tenants, and the tower will be built.
Fantastic idea.
Towers get levelled by planes.
Build em right back up instead of making it a better design with a lower centre of gravity.

From the looks of the renderings, only WTC 1 seems to not have a low centre of gravity, the other ones do.
Besides, it's not like they're going to be made with the same materials and technology of the original WTC.

3 WTC looks fucking amazing. Reminds me of the super tall skyscrapers that are popping up in Dubai for some reason.
