DEA to Use Emergency Powers to Ban K2, AKA "Legal Weed"
But weed isn't just weed. I can't stand smoking shwag, always gives me a nasty headache.
Gee, smoke shitty weed, get shitty high what are the odds.
Here's my logic: as long as there is ANY type of substance, be it alcohol, cannabis, tobacco, whatever, it will be abused and/or used irresponsibly. Cannabis's legal use is for it to be for cancer patients to numb pain or calm them down or whatever it is. Don't arrest people who do drugs, give them help.
Just consider making this shit legal, no matter what it does. If you make it illegal then people will acquire it through illegal means. This bullshit is ridiculous. And weed? It's just a fucking plant.
I never did or plan on doing drugs but there is still no point to place restrictions on what people can do to get high. If you ban any drug like this, people will make their own. It's kind of like if you banned knives (would never happen but this is an example); if you do that, people will then get pencils, sharp-as-fuck sticks, forks, butter knives, etc. to stab people. It's dumb logic to think that if you ban something then people will not find a way to circumvent it.
By the same logic, we should legalize murder because we can't prevent it from happening.
I do believe no drug should be banned, but not because such bans aren't enforcible, but because I don't see "protecting people from themselves" as a valid reason to ban anything.

Obviously murder would stay illegal. But do people still do it? Yes. Why? No idea. There's not a reason for most of the shit humans do.

that's not the same logic at all.
Let us burn their accursed Reichstag to the ground! That'll teach them to fuck with the American people.
Spice fucks people up, stop being so YEAH MAN DRUGS YEAH YEAH
I know first hand what spice does to people, it fucking ruined my brother, all he does is smoke spice and leech of my parents
wow thanks facepunch 420 erryday fuk dha poleece
Not our fault your brother's a pathetic asshole.
That's retarded.
I've never tried this shit, but I'd really like to. Kind of strange though, I hear so many mixed opinions about it. Some people tell me that it's really bad for you, and others say it's way better than weed.
These drugs, the non addictive ones that don't kill people or turn them into drug crazed zombies (a la heroin), why bother even trying to control their rampant use? We all know the war on drugs is stupid.
The war on drugs has been going on since the 60's, and where's it gone? We've been fighting a war longer than any other major world war. Longer than WWI and WWII combined, and the government is still losing this 'war.'
And why?
Because its a load of horseshit.
I love how it's all like "We don't think it's healthy for you so you can't have it. Even though we barely know anything about it. But keep drinking alcohol and smoking cigarettes"
Yeah, this shit is pretty fucking retarded. What are person does to their own person (themselves) shouldn't be of the governments concern.
k2 sucks anyways and is more expensive than illegal weed
I concur.
It's funny how making something illegal is easier and faster than making something legal though.
I'm just gonna shamelessly copypaste something I found
I want to get together to find out how it is that any US government sanctioned enforcement agency can be slated to receive the unchecked "emergency power" (the necessity of which is evidently left to their own sole discretion) to draft new laws independently and enforce them nationwide with potentially lethal force and with the assistance of local law enforcement and judiciary entities. I want a serious, honest, and public answer from related government officials about WHY, WHEN, and HOW An agency of law enforcement has been given the authority and discretion to LEGISLATE outside of Congress-- to PASS AND ENFORCE NEW LAWS without consulting representatives of the people, who Constitutionally are supposed to govern this country.
It's a serious issue, and I expect a serious answer from authorities. I'm aware of how simply it can be brushed off by jadedly poking fun at the inherent lack of control that the general public has in anything the government does-- But I honestly believe this issue transcends simply "this drug is banned" (and whether or not it "should" or "shouldn't" be for any reason), and it warrants more consideration of the implications of the precedences that would be (or have already been) set surrounding this issue.
Today, it's synthetic cannabis. It's something that's easy for people to accept. Cannabis dealers and drug-funded gangs don't want a cannabis high to be available legally in convenient locations-- it's an obvious threat to business. Those who oppose the use of cannabis surely wouldn't want a synthetic version to be used in its place. To many people, it may appear that this is simply a matter of closing up a loophole or fixing a law that accidentally left something out. BUT IT'S MORE THAN THAT. This isn't about JWH-018, or "fake pot". This is about boundaries. This is about rights. Today it's disco grass, but what's next?
Giving the DEA the ability to illegalize a chemical for personal possession is like giving the military the ability to wage a war without consent of Congress. Now don't tell me it happens anyway. That's not the point. The point is, when are we, as a people, going to DO anything about it? When are we going to demand answers from lawmakers for the things they do? Have they really made politics so BORING that you'll let them get away with anything?
tl;dr we need less washed up old people in such positions of power
[editline]29th November 2010[/editline]
also it's nothing special, but the DEA needs to be dismantled asap
[editline]29th November 2010[/editline]
not that it matters seeing as how 10 additional remakes of the same chemical will take it's place
[editline]29th November 2010[/editline]
etc etc
K2 isn't good for you at all, it doesn't give you a good high, it's addictive, why is everyone getting angry over this? I mean sure the DEA is garbage and it's my personal opinion that all drugs should be legal but seriously K2 is terrible. Smoke the real weed not fake shit.
I dont want to live in this country anymore..

Everytime someone on these boards makes a dumb fuck comparison to heroin like it's the antichrist of drugs, it makes me fucking cringe. It's nowhere near as bad as people make it out to be.

Has it occurred to you your brother may just be a loser in general, weed or no weed?
