Did you see the source that came from? Please. I'm motivated more by principle also.
that's cool
what statistics or conclusions from those statistics can i get from your principles
If you just say that's where it came from without a link or title of the report/data/etc, yes.
Imagine if I just said "All illegals are rapists and murderers"
Source: Pew Research
Would you accept that?
no... cause i could go read the actual paper lol, they are quoting facts and statistics directly from the paper. when you see a source.. go read the source? the legitimacy doesn't come from the words "Source: Pew Research" it comes from the content of said research lmao
you are now arguing that their data is not legitimate because they had the tenacity to put their source..? lol!

have you posted a single source so far
i mean, what you posted would actually be an improvement on what you've been doing
wait, my mistake, you posted a source that showed illegal immigrants didn't own farms
no... cause i could go read the actual paper lol, they are quoting facts and statistics directly from the paper. when you see a source.. go read the source? the legitimacy doesn't come from the words "Source: Pew Research" it comes from the content of said research lmao
But that is all the powerpoint literally had. That is my point, excuse me for being skeptical.
But that is all the powerpoint literally had. That is my point, excuse me for being skeptical.
?!? they're not going to put the whole paper there, go read the source! that's why they name the source!!
THIS AGAIN.
are you saying illegal immigrants are rapists and thieves?? the issue is that he is specifically targeting actual human beings and declaring them thieves and rapists, the legality does not come into it. the issue is him calling them thieves and rapists.
Okay first of all, islam isn't a race, its a religion and ideology so you can't call it racist but you can call it bigoted all you like.
Second of all trump really fucking hates illegal immigrants and no matter what kind of stuff he thinks they do all he wants to accomplish is the total deportation of illegal immigrants which is what should happen in all cases. I think if you respect a country enough to want to move to it you should respect its laws and immigration process and not just think you're entitled to live in a foreign country.
But the source is literally "Department of Labor", etc
who else would have stats on labor other than the department of labor lol

if we're arguing as to whether or not illegal immigrants form an appreciable part of farm labor

Foreign-Born is not the same as illegal immigrant. All illegals immigrants are Foreign-Born, but not all Foreign-Born are illegal, they may be naturalized, etc. Square/Rectangle thing.
Foreign-Born is not the same as illegal immigrant. All illegals immigrants are Foreign-Born, but not all Foreign-Born are illegal, they may be naturalized, etc. Square/Rectangle thing.
..you can use that information in there in combination with stasticics of the % of undocumented workers within the foreign-born labour force, it is relevant towards the type of work that they are doing and the amount they get paid. which is what the powerpoint was talking about. a significant percentage of the foreign-born labour are undocumented.. they did not take out the undocumented workers when talking about the statistics, so it is relevant when talking about the importation of labor and when talking about improving methods to import that labour rather than damaging workers who cannot otherwise get in legally.
when foreign-labour is used for certain jobs, and when undocumented workers make up a large percentage of those foreign-labour jobs you can then use that data to talk about undocumented workers.
u want something more specific here u go bro

So what's your point you are trying to argue with the data in that pdf?
Without a large illegal immigrant workforce, I seriously doubt the farm industry wouldn't assimilate to another model, whether it be hiring unskilled Americans or mechanizing their tasks. With such cheap labor available, they have no motivation to innovate different techniques in harvesting.
[editline]24th February 2016[/editline]
It won't be the death of America if suddenly illegals were all deported (which is literally impossible, whether Trump likes it or not).
So what's your point you are trying to argue with the data in that pdf?
...it's backing up the data in the powerpoints you seem keen to ignore
here's some more sources, with sources within them from the makers of the powerpoint if you want to read them

http://nfwm-yaya.org/about/farm-worker-facts/ even more
Foreign-Born is not the same as illegal immigrant. All illegals immigrants are Foreign-Born, but not all Foreign-Born are illegal, they may be naturalized, etc. Square/Rectangle thing.
It still means that 77% of the Farming, fishing, and forestry occupations are foreign born and together with the post by Cloak Raider that you ignored so far that makes up even more than what the "citizen" part of around 30% leaves which makes your point of legals being able to fill the workforce under current laws even more nonsensical.

yes because it's well known that entire sectors of the economy are very good adapting to sudden shifts in labour climate (no)

A source from 2001, lol. And I never argued about the levels of immigration changing, I don't care if there were more, I'm not comfortable with 11 million in my country who aren't here legally.

2 of which I don't even argue with, I'm not arguing that immigration is somehow worse, but having 11 million illegals in my country is unacceptable if there are measures we can take to prevent it.

Neither do we.
You are the one saying that a wall and deportion is the solution.
Are you following the argument at all?
Hint: You are accepting the "illegals" the very moment you accept lower prices for your goods as well as the taxes they are paying.
I don't see any reason why we couldn't come up with a solution
spoilers: the solution is to make it easier for people to become citizens
then you get the best of both worlds - you get a source of labor that is willing to work the jobs that naturalised americans won't and don't, and you don't have to build a fucking wall because people will seek legal avenues
2 of which I don't even argue with, I'm not arguing that immigration is somehow worse, but having 11 million illegals in my country is unacceptable if there are measures we can take to prevent it.
"illegals"
they're fucking people, grow up

I don't know where people get the idea that Americans won't do these jobs if need be. Also if you build a wall, it would force people to seek legal avenues.

cool
give me a design for a wall that
a) won't cost billions
b) actually does anything
(go and watch the penn and teller episode on illegal immigrants, it even features a wall!)
the fucking berlin wall didn't prevent immigration, and that was the fucking berlin wall
I don't know where people get the idea that Americans won't do these jobs if need be. Also if you build a wall, it would force people to seek legal avenues.
We are in circles now.
You were already told that most people are coming i through legal avenues and stay in the country illegally.
THIS AGAIN. He was calling out ILLEGAL immigrants.
The plurality vote he won with Latinos is still remarkable, you all can stick with your loser Bernie.
No, he was saying that all Mexico was sending rapists and murderers, and that only some might be good
