I heard those "toys" can be converted into deadly machine guns, why the fuck was a kid even allowed to handle one?
That's so god damn wrong it's not even funny. [editline]24th September 2013[/editline]
Thanks for the ad hominem, and I'm pretty sure you need to do some research before posting something so misleading as that. As said by this very intelligent special agent for the ATF, any airsoft pistol can be turned into a machine gun. The single reason every gangster in this country doesn't turn every airsoft gun into deadly weapons (which is a misnomer, since airsoft guns kill millions every year in the middle east) is that it can only fire one shot before it entirely blows up in your hands. And I don't know about you, but I'm pretty sure that I don't want to walk around knowing that I was responsible for a man's death, when he tried to gun me down with an airsoft machinegun and bled to death from the plastic shards. That being said, I don't want to ban airsoft guns, just make them harder to get (so children or criminals can't get any), and eventually phase them out for airsoft tasers, as well as other assorted less-than-less-than-lethal airsoft weapons.
"Very intelligent special agent" who tried to put the fucking magazine in backward.

I'm not going to be suprised when this happens to someone else and they respond by actually shooting up the school
Words.
Dude, you're too good at sounding like a total dumbass on purpose. Please, tone it down so it's more obvious next time for everyone else's sake.

What kind of shit is that?
Back in primary school I was using these fuckers: [t]http://images.funlearning.co.uk/cache/data/maths/LER0090E_Mathlink_Cubes_C_1-500x500.jpg[/t] I made a right angle with them and got pulled up by a teacher for making a gun. I was so confused. :v:
Reminds me of how I got in trouble for drawing a middle finger when I was really drawing mountains, how the hell did they come to that conclusion?

Nobody here is reading the fucking article. He did it at the bus stop when the bus was there, which is a violation of the school rules. I know damn well at my school, the rules read that the bus "extended" school property - so breaking school rules on or around the bus would be treated the same way as breaking them on school property. The example in my rulebook was "if you throw a snowball at someone at the bus stop, it's just the same as throwing a snowball at someone on the playground." Is it retarded either way? Yeah, it is. But don't think it's some fucking violation of your rights, because he wasn't suspended for doing it on a Saturday afternoon a thousand miles away from the school. Also, the lady who called is an awful person. Like really awful.
Eventually you gonna do this and end up kicked out of school.
I remember being in middle school and it was actually like against the rules to do that. You got detention or like some kind of suspension.
Back in early elementary school, to get around the 'no imaginary guns' rule, I told my friends to pretend they were using flamethrowers instead.
I almost got suspended for making imaginary guns with my hands.
If it was a real gun, wouldn't it be, you know, loud as fuck?
the beginning of this year i was in a really boring regular government class before my schedule was fixed to put me into AP. i pantomimed a suicide to a friend after the teacher spent 30 minutes defining the word "government" and had us write a half-page on what we thought government was, and she held me after class and said how inappropriate it was and that she should give me a referral. lectured me about it for a minute. senior year of high school and finger guns can cause referrals. then i got back into AP and none of my teachers care because it's not babysitting, behavior management, and test memorization, it's learning shit.

Almost got suspended for pantomiming a gun for a production in drama class. I'm a few months away from legally being an adult, and using my thumb and forefinger in a 90 degree angle is a fucking capital offense. What the fuck.
He's a fucking idiot for airsofting in his front yard in the first place. If you're going to airsoft do it in your back yard or at least get permission from your neighbours to do it and make sure they're comfortable with it. You wouldn't see an airsofter here in the UK dare do it in their front garden.
You speak for everyone in your entire country? Ok.
I did end up getting ISS (in-school suspension) because Norton Anti-Virus was running a virus scan. That is how stupid zero-tolerance is. Seriously, school administrators must be leaving common sense at the door.

If that's so, I had fired match starting guns in a park multiple times twice with my classmates when I was in middle school. I had even got it on film, I should had been suspended
I'm glad here my front lawn is my property and I can play with real guns there if I so choose

A concerned neighbor called 911 to report the incident.

Dumb bitch. How is that a 911 call? What the fuck? If it's legal to have airsoft guns there, fuck that cunt.
Lmfao I grew up in south chicago, first airsoft handgun I had looked like a 9mm but with an orange tip. Me being the idiotic 13 year old I was, I spray painted it all black, stuck it in my waistline and went to the fucking park, that a sheriff literally lives next door too Nothing happened, besides some questions by parents, which was mostly "don't shoot my kid or you will be in trouble". I'm not saying I was smart in doing what I did, but I coulve easily been mistaken for a gang banger. One time this kid tried to steal my bike while I was playing tag, I saw him, pulled the gun out of my boxers and yelled "GROVE STREET MOTHAFUCKA" and shot him until he dropped my bike.
Everyone is dumbing this guy, but it's a pretty core concept when it comes to working with fake guns like these. He has an orange tip but you want to take every precaution if you're going to bother using it in your front yard. Not everyone has a back yard, but yeah, telling your neighbors is a pretty good idea. He doesn't deserve suspension and the neighbor who called in so sure of themself that it was real was stupid. But this is not untrue.
That guy is a fucking idiot because neighbors would look for five seconds, see a kid running and one with a gun and think 'oh no' until the kid running gets shot in the ass and they both start laughing. Do you see why that's fucking retarded? Snoopy neighbors could observe in 10 seconds that whatever they were shooting wasn't lethal

What a monster.
