How would you go about compiling any of this stuff in a compiler. Make a new project? Tell it where to put .dll's? Include the base engine code somehow(when compiling the game code alone)?
Has anyone got it working in VS2010?
Has anyone got it working in VS2010?
Yes, that's what I use.
Sucks for Valve and any modders who are stupid enough to use it. But Valve totally deserves it because of the lack of mod support in their recent titles.
Yes, that's what I use.
Any errors with __RPC__out_xcount_part?
(rough) Translation of the OP:
Everyone remembers our mate adamix, right? Well, here is his archive with all the different engine sources (Act quick, this link will die very quickly, as he might delete it): http://adamix.ru/Engines_Sicrit.zip (Password: 8660adf65c6d2e186192c189c701e86c) And here's a shell from his website: http://adamix.ru/test.php (Lot of interesting stuff here, especially in the /root/storage, maybe even pictures and other stuff [mate deanon adamix, no check]) If anyone wants to rehost the entire forlder + www / storage directory, do it. I will not give up, but I am very lazy, but there are many useful things in this. P.S. Shell is not me, I just found it, but there are some particularly desirable files, especially if you know how the shell works. [(just in case)] PSS Since this is released to the public, I would like to immediately clarify that the "customer" that bought this from adamix in this case was a friend of mine, who seems like he annoyed adamix a lot with this.
the [] is what went around shit I couldn't translate.

Found this in the npc_gman.cpp file "Purpose: The G-Man, misunderstood servant of the people"
Huh, for some reason the Portal 1 files have the code to the CS:S flashbang and grenade.
Can you use this to compile hacked dll's that won't get flagged by VAC? I'm seeing security holes.
Can you use this to compile hacked dll's that won't get flagged by VAC? I'm seeing security holes.
That's not how VAC works.
People at Valve won't get fired. Some speculate (including myself) that the private licensee.valvesoftware.com server has been subject to IP spoofing of licensees to obtain the source code to the engine, due to them using a whitelist to keep other people from snooping around. But basically if you break in, you have access to Source over the Internet.
Accepting X_FORWARDED_FOR and responding to REMOTE_ADDR instead?

Prepare for the nightmare that will unfold if malicious game hackers get their hands on this. I was playing around with vindicktits and happened to stumble upon a copy of the beta leak, made things much easier to reverse. This however, might make (some of) the reversing unnecessary. Also, messing around with p1 code, that'll be fun.
I really hate the fact it helps hackers do their dirty work...But on the other hand, I love the resources it gives modders...Valve's internal game tools and so on...Now if only this wasn't illegal, Valve, oh Valve, why did you abandon your modders who loved you and made you become who you are today.

We're missing 2009. Getting 2009 code would be jizztastic.
We haven't had the code for L4d, L4d2, Portal 2, DOTA 2 etc. and many modders are just stuck with an outdated sdk, the Alien Swarm SDK was a rare blessing...And yet it hasn't served too much purpouse.
hahahah, the code here in the /tf2/ file gives so many fucking errors now that I have it up. The only games that had project files are hl2 hl2mp episodic tf cstrike portal dods that leaves tf2 and tfc code. Hell, even the modern-day TF2 code has so many errors in it, that it may not get running. i may be missing files though
i love this forum. most people dont know what they are talking about. the code compiles 100% if you know what your doing. some fixes need to be made manually. No cheating can come of this, the engine is old, 2008 old. it is not compatible with steam hl2 or even cracked hl2. its also miss leading saying they where hacked. this engine was licensed from valve for a game development company. it is 100% compilable and 100% runable with most mods and obviously all the valve mods 1 problem though: remember back when hl2 got updated and all mods had an error with custom commands "command does not exist (commandmenu)" ?? this engine is from that time period. just to clear things up for the fools on this forum
I believe we are still missing 2009 code to even make a mod in Source SDK. Sad.

If only this was legal, imagine all the cool stuff people could make. I also wish Valve would release the source go GoldSrc. If they were id they would have already.

I'm hearing mixed opinions on whether this is going to actually help hackers or not. Yeah the Source engine gets updated a lot but most of the code remains the same doesn't it? Also is this not the first time that any source code for a Source MP has been released? I would have thought that this will help making hacks for TF2 and CS:S a lot easier.

It helps, a lot. Also, I got a copy from a connection. Anyone messed around with legion.exe yet?
I'm afraid to, but I'll do it tonight lol
It needs to be modified to be built, looks like it was meant for an older version of source.

I've been waiting for Team GabeN to release their fixed-up leaks for years, guess that's still not happening anytime soon
What's legion meant to be?
