im sorry people who want xray filters and mgs exclamation marks but the screen is only in the corner of your view
That'd be good enough for an arrow related to Google Maps directions.
Game GUI's/HUD's maybe?
Maybe have it sync with your computer, and have the game put the hud and menus on the glasses.
Game GUI's/HUD's maybe?
If I have one I know my job would be to incorporate a camera feed from a UAV.
That's all I really want. A HUD. Even just a minimap would be awesome. :v:
Not even considering the resolution, only the minimap would be feasible. A common misconception is that it projects over your entire eye. It doesn't. You see a small box in the top right corner of your screen.
So, $1,500 is the cutoff point for when manufacturers think we deserve the right to modify our own property now?
All Google Nexus devices are specifically designed to be both an unaltered Android experience and damn easy to unlock.
It should come with an ammo counter too.
But instead of ammo, the money you have on your bank account!
Hexxeh was the first to "hack" into Glass. He's done some cool stuff with it.
such as? genuinely curious
Imagine the possibilities with this thing, holy shit. You could make the crazy glasses the FBI dude from Heavy Rain had
This thing is really damn cool. We are now one step closer to fulfilling the transhumanist dream.
Ok as an Australian that headline has a very different meaning
So, $1,500 is the cutoff point for when manufacturers think we deserve the right to modify our own property now?
You must be looking reaaaally hard for something to complain about

And this is a super limited beta released only to a handful of people who really want to get their hands on this thing so they're willing to pay that much for it. Of course the final version is going to be way cheaper, and will most probably remain being easily unlockable.
Reminds me of the Kindle Fire 2. That thing took months until anyone even tried, but they did it, and it's proof that nothing is really unhackable. I'm interested to see where they go with it, but without allowing VR using stock apps I'm pretty annoyed.
