Twitter cares more about Beyonces Baby than Bin Laden's Death
Might have something to do with the fact that the war has been going on so long, and how it would appear we've made nearly no progress that it's fucking boring now. Osama is dead, great, so? He was sitting in his house.
Even I care more about Beyonce's baby than Osama.
Well that's dumb. It's a woman who sings and dances having a child, that happens every day. The most notorious terrorist in the world isn't killed very often.
And you're saying Beyonce's baby will do anything :v:
beyonces baby will be admitted to freemasonry and spearhead the NWO
i know because beyonce did a triangle sign with her hands
Jay-Z and Beyonce are having a baby.. yeah.. what about it?
It's just another of the millions of babies in the world.
I remember when Osama was killed, people were like "We're celebrating death!!", ect. Now that everyone is celebrating a new life, or atleast talking about it, people are still complaining.
Oh a new celebrity child, we obviously need to discuss this in depth.
Although as stupid as this is, nothing will beat Paparazzis buying first photos of newborn celebrity children for millions of dollars.
Who obsesses over this shit? I really don't understand this.
Amount of shit given in the USA when osama died: A LOT.
Amount of shit given pretty much everywhere else when osama died: not much
Amount of shit given in the USA when beyonce had a baby: Average
Amount of shit given pretty much everywhere else when beyonce had a baby: Average
Do the math. This isn't surprising in the slightest.
Millions of women have a baby every years.
So why is Beyonce having a baby news? She got knocked up. Big deal.
I'm pretty sure America likes celebrities more than politicians or anything related to politics
"I mean look at those abs on Brad Pitt! Does Osama have abs? Pfft, no."

Shit, 6,000 posts
I post too much
I'm pretty sure that Twitter is a global service so what America likes really doesn't matter.
are we really gonna measure the social repercussions of something using tweets per second

Well sir, if you have a problem with that, I've developed a new political polling methodology.
See, we determine the election results by the popularity of different Justin Bieber songs. It cannot fail!
"'I have 99 problems, and the common problems associated with a pregnant wife's frequent mood swings and emotional needs account for the vast majority of them."

I think you underestimate how much the war on terror affects most of Western society. A lot of fucks were given by many many nations. However celebrity culture being what it is, the star-goss will penetrate more markets in a more significant and relatable way.
90% of those tweets were Destiny's Child puns.

Lol, he hasn't done dick since 9/11 but sit in his house drinking soda and eating Doritos
Neither of these topics are significant. I look down on all of you plebs discussing these trivial matters as my superior mind is contemplating the continuing downward spiral of our economy, of on-going wars that will not end regardless of how many "notorious terrorists" we catch, of infringements upon the Constitution, of the rapid changes in the global power structure.
You must all be idiots if you care about anything other than what I care about.
Edit
I'd rather listen to her baby scream for hours on end than her music. I mean seriously what the fuck is this:

Is it meant to sound retarded or was the person who made the tune deaf?

cause if you liked it, then you should have put a ring on it
plus beyonce was one of the best videos of all time
well no shit twitter cares more about beyonce's pregnancy. it's twitter.
you could have just not posted and had the same impact on the thread
Yay for a baby that's never gonna have to work a hard 40 hrs/week and never have a hard time paying taxes! This kid is set for life and its not even born.

I have to say when I heard it on the radio it made me want to rip my ears off, not type the song name into youtube to go find it
Amazed no ones mentioned this yet

Wrong clip I know, but it's relevant if you know the plot
to be fair osama hardly had an effect on our daily lives when he died
like, a lot of people have no idea who he is, just a sign of his irrelevance

And Beyonces baby is having an effect?
And Beyonces baby is having an effect?
a lot of people actual care about her
she's in the public eye a lot and produces a lot of music, which a lot of people listen to
I don't get why facepunch of all places is getting up in arms about this, don't justin bieber and call of duty get like 4 pages every time any thread about them is created (which is like one every two days) and threads about considerably more important shit rarely crack three? How is that any different then tweets about beyonce's baby versus tweets about osama's death
wow
do you guys really have to be so "oh no on some social networking site populated by 16-30 year olds they give more of a fuck about popular culture then real news, oh no!!!!! You guys need to grow up.
I saw a post saying "what has the world come to." Really? If this makes you think the human race is horrible, get real. There also happens to be other places besides the western world where people don't really give a fuck about certain affairs of ours.
One could even argue they have a right not to care, as this was pretty much a war America started, even though it is our job to protect the certain Middle Eastern countries we've up and disturbed.
You guys act like we are even supposed to give a shit about Osama anymore. When's the last time he himself plotted something? Hmmmmm..... can't seem to remember. His last big thing, 9/11 was a decade ago. I live in New York and remember that day, and I moved on.
tl;dr a bunch of "sophisticated" kiddies on a forum feel like they're so righteous because some teens who care about a pretty inactive, though extremely notorious terrorist dying, less then 2 of America's biggest stars having a baby.
I don't even know why I feel so strongly about this. Probably because Jay-Z is one of my favorite celebrities. But I don't think you guys have the right to judge a few kids and young adults being more happy about a celebrity's baby then a terrorist's death.
that's because the news covers the celebrity bullshit more. Calling them news channels is an oxymoron since one woman having a baby is not news.

^ life is a bitch
um no that is what people want to hear, and news is: a report of a recent event; intelligence; information
