[Europe]MP3 Player Default Maximum Volume Settings to be Lowered

Maybe they should have a law for how hard you can slam down your toilet seat.
I mean the neighbors MIGHT hear it. And it can BREAK YOUR TOILET CRISIS.
And they have to create the Tolice.
This won't change anything for me. I already use quite low volume
iPods have a volume lock feature. I find it nice, I don't like my music loud.

I love having my MP3 on full blast.:buddy:
Enjoy slowly losing the higher frequencies of your hearing. I've made a general rule to myself that I never turn mine up above 12, and it goes to 20.

I'm quite used to it. I get ear infections quite frequently (in the colder weather, at least).

That's not good either. Wouldn't you like to be able to hear?

That would be preferred, yes.
Edit: I can feel/hear my ear starting to fill up. FFFFFFFFFFFFFF
They said the user can disable the feature.
Then what the fuck is the point?

Just like with the safeties on guns. To prevent accidents. Naturally some never learn to use them but we can't have it all
:sigh: this sucks
I do dislike sitting around on the bus and having to hear the chavvy girls at the back of the bus playing their shit-tastic music, and I'm not one of those people who has their music volume turned up to the max. I like it fairly loud, but not so loud it hurts after one song.
Yeah, like someone will listen, or they would actually enforce it.
These are amusing, I'm still laughing at the "cucumbers must be this straight to be legal" directive.
They should be forcing headphone manufacturers to make closed-back headphones instead of just lowering the volume. The reason people blast their music so high is because they don't want to hear other people, anyway. If all headphones were closed-back and sound-insulating, people wouldn't have to turn their music up so loud and even if they did, their music would seem quieter to other people.
