What do you mean? Animations are defined with keyframes.
I should have been more specific. I was thinking more along the lines of things being so smooth they become unrealistic. Granted I don't know a lot about animation, but 1700FPS is a lot to work with
Framerate would cease to be a visual thing and become a feel thing. Which it already does IMO after about 70fps
Nah, the real can't notice shit gap is 120+, difference between 80 and 144 is apparent for me, visually speaking.

It's surprisingly not a problem in video games. I definitely see why you might think it could be an issue, though Games on 120hz monitors just look rad, not unrealistic. If you haven't seen it yet I'd really recommend you do, because it's a really cool effect.
but wouldn't it be weird if hold on a second if something on a screen is moving fast at 1700fps will our eyes blur it? because something moving fast enough becomes blurry by our eyes. will it be super duper unblurry smooth or will it be just as blurry

I think this is meant to be used for image stabilisation
guh everyone knows eyes can only see 144hz c'mon u dont need more than 144hz!! Nah for real tho, really cool to see that we're able to push it that high
this is pointless everyone knows the human eye cant see past 1699hz
I don't know if their goal is 1700 hz games, but I doubt it. I think they're just looking at is a future tech goal, getting 1700 hz monitors or displays will help lower the latency perceived even at a game running at a normal frame rate, no?
It will also reduce motion blur no mater what the FPS is, and tearing would never happen again
