NYC man spends life savings on doomsday ad campaign

I want to feel bad for him, but I can't.
That's what you get for being an ignorant sheep that believes everything a voice on the radio tells you.
I feel sorry for him, he truly believed that the world was going to end and he was trying to warn people.
Now he has nothing.
There's always welfare for this guy.
good job NYC man.
Lol I work at a pizza delivery place
Apparently on Saturday, we were completely dead all day, sans an order here or there.
As soon as it is past 6pm (when the world supposidly would end in EST), the store gets flooded with orders :v:
I do believe this proves religion encourages stupidity. Also: if he dies of starvation from not being able to buy food then its a well-earned and ironic Darwin award.
So what were some excuses of why nothing happened? I highly doubt they're going to say "we were wrong", more along the lines of "god works in mysterious ways"?
Sad as it may be, he shouldn't have been so fucking stupid.
[editline]23rd May 2011[/editline]
But then again if he promotes his book in the ads he must be aware that the world isn't going to end at all
The MTA has a set of basic guidelines that all ads must follow, such as no nudity, foul language, or racist claims. But as long as the guidelines are adhered to, anything goes, Donovan said.
In Britain, ads have to be factually true.
:britain:
(though that doesn't mean they have to tell the whole truth)
"is it not enough to see a beautiful garden, without having to imagine there are fairies at the bottom?"
So that's where all those ads were coming from? I hope he feels stupid now.

One group said that, "Jesus has come, few were saved, even less noticed his presence, but May 21st was still Judgement Day. If you are reading this blog, then you were not saved by Jesus in the Second Coming".
Here:http://judgementday2011.com/
Also notice how they are still promoting their shirts.
What an idiot.....
Wonder how he feels now that it's the 23rd.
I’m Sorry You Weren’t Saved in the Rapture
Jesus has come, few were saved, even less noticed his presence, but May 21st was still Judgement Day. If you are reading this blog, then you were not saved by Jesus in the Second Coming, and have been left behind during the End of Days. There are just five months remaining until the End of The World on October 21 2011. Prepare yourself for the End Times now by stocking up on water, canned goods, and appropriate clothing before the End of The World.

The End of The World 2011 still coming October 21st
Saturday May 21st is just the start of the Apocalypse now that Jesus has returned to Earth. Those left now face 5 months of torment during the End Times since they were not saved on Judgement Day 2011. Are you disappointed by God’s decision not to save you in the Rapture? Are you Ok with the fact that you will see the End of the World in just 5 short months? Buy yourself a T-Shirt! It’s a GREAT conversation starter, and will help you spread the word that the End of the World is coming soon.
:what:
Lol I don't think you can exactly prepare for the Rapture unless god is incompetent and his great plan is thwarted by some guys stocking up on food and water.
[editline]23rd May 2011[/editline]
Hell if I was god I certainly wouldn't want some asshole ruining my plans for the end of the world by hiding in some tiny bunkers. I'd probably do something like turn the entire planet into anti-matter.

So the guy writing all this wasn't raptured? Well that just takes the cake, doesn't it?
None of this is as bad as that psychopathic mother who slit her daughters' throats and then tried to kill herself over this bullshit.

Unless its done by a political party then its outside the ASA's rules. For example:

First advert (not done by a political party) is / was OK, however the second one (done by a political party) is technically illegal (and the most complained about advert in UK history) but fine due to being done by a party.
Christians that speak make me angry.
I wonder how the flow of shit from their mouths does not poison them.

I know plenty who are perfectly rational.

Sounds like a boring party. If you don't mind me I'll go join the hot women party.
Oh wow
How can someone be that fucking stupid?
I feel kinda sorry for him but still
How crazy things can religion drive people to?
Not like telling people they die if they dont become christians helps anyways
Well look on the bright side, he's 60 years old. That means he won't have to live on the streets for that long.
He's 89 years old, apparently 90 in July

Agreed, god, if such a thing exists, is more like an evil depiction of Satan, when he asks people to join him or die, etc. Satan is the way to go :v:
God just trolled all his followers :v:
