Vitamin B12 is something found in meat, animal derived products, or produced by bacteria. People who choose not to eat these foods with B12 either have to eat foods with added Vitamin B12 or take supplements which are obtained from bacteria production sources. It is not uncommon to find Vegetarians or to a lesser extent vegans, B12 deficient.

Humans and mammals are unable of producing B12, it's artificially added to meat so its not (found in meat)
I can give more examples if you want.
Please do

-The meat industry is one of the number one causes of greenhouse gas emissions

-The meat industry is the reason antibiotic resistant superbugs are evolving
-Humane killing, lol, next we should try cold fire
You realize our teeth developed a certain way because we are Omnivores, right? No just plant eaters, and not just meat eaters.
Fuck off please.

We don't need meat, we can eat both or one of them.
Fair to mention that Patrik Baboumian was already a massive motherfucker before he even switched to a vegetarian diet, and he switched to that diet when he was like 26 - and he didn't switch to veganism for another five years, which meant he still consumed eggs and milk before that. Also worth mentioning that bodybuilders literally eat like four and have six meals a day because you need to constantly fill yourself to the brim to not lose muscle. If he doesn't eat animal products whatsoever then he's either taking a lot of food supplements or he's eating twice as much as any bodybuilder normally would.
Moreover, one dude achieving a successful professional career in bodybuilding while switching to a vegan diet during training doesn't make it a rule that veganism is healthier for your body. If it was, every gym trainer in the world would recommend switching to veganism by now, but instead the first thing you are told is that meat is an integral part of your diet because you need it to actually get strong - same way you need a ton of vegetables to not get sick and keep a healthy diet.

If "holy grail of veganist thinking" is comparing rape = holocaust. I really don't know what meds you are on.
Being an omnivore isn't about choice. It's about requiring both plants and meat. We literally needed meat. Perhaps we might not need meat today, with alternatives like high protein plants, but there was no choice until lately. Especially thousands of years ago, either you eat meat, or you die.
Denying that is ridiculous. It's literally set in stone.
That's a fact, but it's a really, really misleading one because for the vast majority of human history, meat has been comparably rare in diet. Typical diet for most of the world has been overwhelmingly grains and vegetables, with meat being an occasional addition, excepting a few societies like the Inuit (who have significant health problems as a direct result of their diet).
If you look at places like the Middle East or Africa, where people live in traditional agrarian societies, they have meat, but it's not a staple the way it is here. An animal like a cow or goat or chicken is far more useful for its milk or eggs and is expensive, so people can't afford to raise an animal solely for its meat. You raise the animal for the foods it provides, then eat the animal itself when it eventually dies. But the modern industry around raising animals exclusively for meat, killing them very young when the meat is the best, is extremely atypical, and modern Westerners eat way more meat than we actually need to sustain ourselves.

He's basically saying that it's bad, he's trying to appeal to emotion here and I don't see anything wrong with that, he has too get the audience sympathetic somehow and drive their attention span.
This is just the beginning of the video, he lists the points and there's a Q&A session in the description.
Watch the whole video.

Just an FYI to those who think Vegan = Vegetarian, well it doesn't. They are two different groups and philosophical beliefs; also keep in mind that she is not representitive of all vegans or vegetarians.
I can't find anything in the article about if shes either of them.
Found the other vegetarian
Last time I checked, vegetarians weren't known for stroking themselves over eating something that doesn't have a face.
Also, I hope that one day food replicators will become a reality. Imagine, being able to replicate a nice steak from some molecular patterns set up on a computer.

Probably vegan because she keeps mentioning eating eggs as some sort of atrocity.

Yeah. Obviously a mistake since I reffered to her as a she previously in the post and I corrected this before you even posted that.

Please do some research about vitamin B12. B12 is involved with every cell in the body, and is produced by bacteria and achaea commonly through bacteria symbiosis. These bacteria are commonly only found naturally in the gut of many herbivores, while occurring far less frequently and in smaller natural quantities outside of these sources. B12 cannot be artificially produced with current technology due to the complexity of the vitamin. Bacteria will always be involved in the process, such as bacterial fermentation.

I doesn't matter, It's produced by the bacteria not the animal.

Vitamin B12
Meat is part of a healthy diet whether you like it or not. The human body works in a way that requires BOTH meat and vegetables to grow well. Once you're an adult that doesn't matter nearly as much, although you will still suffer from deficiencies. The reason we are more healthy now than we were a few centuries back is also due to how we have been able to consistently diversify our diet.

You're grasping at straws.
We don't need meat, we can eat both or one of them.
You'll be lacking in nutrients from one of the sources.
Although in modern (at least American) diets Meat (especially Red meat) has become far more of a staple than it was in history. This has both benefits and detractors, but the point is we are able, and supposed to have a variety of things to eat - including meat.
One of the groups we have been studying in my Anthropology class are the !Kung, whom inhabit the Kalahari Desert of Southern Africa. They were primarily a Hunter Gatherer society, until Aparthied got the best of them and marginalized them and basically forced them to abandon their old ways.
Long story short, they had extremely varied and healthy diet while they were still allowed to hunt. Meat did not make a majority of their meals, but meat was still important to their diet. It provided a good source of nutrients that they could not get anywhere else. In fact, before they were forced into reservations style villages, they were extremely healthy and had few health problems.
Basically, some meat is generally essential to ones health unless you want to be taking supplements.
You're grasping at straws.
How am I grasping at straws?, humans and mammals aren't capable of producing the vitamin.
Only bacteria does, you need the bacteria not the animal.

You don't need meat, all the nutrients that are found in meat can be also found elsewhere.
B12 is artificially added to meat so it doesn't count and you're taking it as a supplement tru meat anyway since the animal doesn't actually produce it.
