It'll probably teleport Sam to modern day and he'll have to end up saving the US Marines at one point. Or he will probably go after Mental which will somehow teleport them into the past again.
Besides, what's the problem everyone has with Middle East? Yes, it's overused since CoD4 did it, but that doesn't mean that you can't execute it well. And you're not fighting unnamed terrorists, you're fighting aliens 'n shit.
Atleast we now know it's not going to be those terribad comic style graphics.
